For once I slept without having any nightmare-ish demigod dreams. Gods those were annoying. I woke slowly. My senses were slow to revive. First came my sight. Wait... this doesn't look like the ceiling of my cabin... where am I? Right. The infirmary. Curse Solace and his stupid smirk-y "doctors orders." Then the rest of my body started to wake up. Huh? What was that weird tickling sensation on my leg? I bolted upright. What I saw didn't make any sense. I saw Will standing over me and he appeared to be stroking the inside of my thigh with another medic (presumably another Apollo kid) holding a giant roll of greenish tinted bandages. My cheeks flushed deep red. My hand reacted faster than my mind, reaching up to slap Solace for the touch. What the- I watched in slow motion as my hand passed straight through his face like a ghost.

Great. Will smirked and turned to look at me "I see you're finally awake death boy." I wasn't sure if I should be offended or sarcastic. I went with both "Don't call me that, Sunshine." My eyes widened and I slammed my mouth shut with my hands. As if my face wasn't red enough as it was. Nico, you should've thought that one through first... He seemed to be ignoring me. Whew. He only glanced up and continued wrapping my legs up with the greenish bandages. "You started fading in your sleep again. These bandages should keep you grounded here, while they remain on. Don't remove them-" he glared at me "-doctors orders. And now that you've decided to go all shadowy on us,  now you're confined to the infirmary for at least a week. Doc-"

I interrupted "Doctors orders, I get it I get it. Jeez." I was getting really tired of Solace and his stupid orders. Who did he think he was anyway?

"Oh and since you're going to be a long term guest, we'll give you a separate room so one of us can keep an eye on you at all times."

"A room to myself. For a week. Joy." I let the sarcasm drip. Will only glared at me. What was his problem? He was usually the cute cheery one, not me. Wait. Cute? Where did that come from. Stupid brain thinking things it's not supposed to. Will interjected me chastising myself. "Hey I can get you some Sunny D if you want it." I choked. "Sunny... what?" I stared at Will incredulously. It was his turn to flush red. He sputtered "ORANGE JUICE! I meant orange juice... oh gods kill me now, I never realized it sounded that way."

He glanced back at what he was doing. He had almost finished wrapping me from head to toe with bandages. I quietly snickered to myself. I decided making Solace even more uncomfortable would be worth the self embarrassment. He finished wrapping me up and gave me a once over. As he turned to go tend another patient I put on a sneer and said with my best angel voice "Oh, and Will... I'm pretty thirsty, I would love some of your Sunny D. I have no idea how it's going to work with all these bandages covering me up, but I think we could make it work, don't you?"

I choked back my laughter. He at least had the decency to look mortified. He was never going to live innocent orange juice down. I asked sweetly "Problem?" and gave him a sly wink. His face turned a few shades darker as he managed a "Sure, no problem" and walked stiffly away. I nearly died laughing. Payback.
