Chapter 2: Really school, it sucks

 RING, RING, RIIINNGG RIIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!

I slowly open my eyes to check my clock. 5:30 ugh why am I getting up this early again, oh yeah gotta sign up for my stupid new school. "Child wake up and bring your backpack juat in case okay we will be leaving in an hour so get ready". Man well here goes nothing. I got up and headed to my bathroom with my clothes and take a shower. 40 minutes later im out of the shower, teeth brushed, hair done and dressed in

and my hair was down in soft curls. I grabed my bag and put my bear in it and put on my locket with the picture of me and my family. After I got my stuff together I went to the kitchen and got myself a poptart and some chocolate milk.

 

As I was about to finish my breakfast Maw Maw comes in, "Are you all ready to go". She asked "yes maim" I said properly.  "

Child dont you think its time to leave the bear home for now", the bear shes refering to is the last gift I had gotten from my father along with the locket

I got from my mother I dont go anywhere without them yesterday was an exception cause I had nothing to carry it in. "

Maw Maw you know I cant, when im ready I promise you I will leave him here everyday."

She looked at me worriedly but let it pass and lead me to her car. "Remember they are already a week into school and were lucky you were able to transfer in.

So remember the only way I will let you keep your job at the diner is if....," I cut her off "I know Maw straight A's and staying up with dance and singing class.

Also if I get my babysitting program up, I wont let you down Maw." I told her.

30 minutes have passed and we now are pulling into the school parking lot. I notice the bell hasn't rung yet so their are kids still

lounging around. Me and Maw walk through the school and head to the office where come to meet the principal. "

Good morning,  how can I help you", the principal said with those big ass smiles ive seen all around here wth.

"Actually I'm here to register my granddaughter", man this is to much so I told them I would go wait for her outside the office.

They nodded and went back to there conversation. As I walked out of the office I ran into this girl dropping my bag as well. "

watch were your going dweeb", oh shit not her again, "wait a minute your that girl who spilled a drink all over me yesterday.

What was your name again..... Marie and aww look at this she has her stuff bear aw so cute. Does baby want her bear". This girl I think Roman said bending down to my level shaking the bear in front of me.

"Give it back!" I said reaching for it, I almost had it until she put it out of my reach. "awe poor baby", she said as her friends started to snicker.

 A crowd started to form and honestly I could give a fuck what people think about me fighting for a bear. "I said give it back"

I said tight lipped, "and what are you going to do if I dont". This school is unbelievable like really were in front of the office and everything.
