I climbed out of the warm cozy bed, to feel the cold floor nipping at my feet. I quickly pulled on some fuzzy red socks to keep my feet from being frozen stiff. Outside the foggy window was piles and piles of snow all along the invisible streets. A few snowmen lined the road. This was the only holiday that kids would wake up early. Hoping Santa would bring them lots of toys and hoping they weren't bad. A few kids were out and about frockling in the snow. A small snowball fight between a son and dad. The dad constantly getting pelted with snowballs.

I stepped into the empty kitchen. The Christmas tree me and Louis had decorated together, before he left on tour, was shining brightly from the comer of the room. Underneath it was a small box Louis had instructed me not to open until he got back. The house seemed so lonely without him here. Of course, it had only been a couple of weeks, but it was hard not having your long time boyfriend with you on Christmas. And on top of all that, yesterday was his birthday! I sent him his present in the mail, but who knows when he'll get it? His mail is probably backed up with all the fans stuff they sent to him. I sent him a Santa hat and a watch. The watch was actually pretty fancy, I had to admit. It was silver with a navy blue middle. The tiny hands on it moving slightly with every second.

I fixed myself some tea and sat on the couch, turning the Television on. The couch smelled like Louis. His strong cologne clung to the fabric. I felt my phone vibrate in the pocket of my sweat pants. I pulled it out only to see the name 'Louis' written on top. I might admit to having some hearts next to it. Without hesitation I answered the call. I almost screamed from excitement when I heard his voice.

"Hey, babe!" His perfect Doncaster accent said.

"Hi! I missed you so much!" I said practically yelling from excitement.

"Missed you too!" He said in reply.

We chatted for a while and until we were broken apart by a scratch at the door

"Gotta go. Sorry. Talk to you later! Love you!" I said a little annoyed as I hung up.

I walked over and opened the door to reveal a little chocolate lab, with the same blue eyes as Louis, staring up at me.

"Oh my god!" I said happily. I've always loved animals. I scooped up the little bundle of joy in my arms, and I felt something on his side. It was a note that said...

BANG!

A loud noise echoed through the house, making me jump. I let the dog go and slowly tiptoed to the counter. I grabbed the pepper spray that Louis had given me in case anyone tried to Hurt me, I'd be safe, and stood there waiting.

Moments passed and I had convinced myself it was nothing to be concerned about. I sat back down on he couch, allowing the dog up with me. While me and the no named dog were sitting there I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.

Without thinking, I violently sprayed the pepper spray all over, into piercing blue eyes.

"Ahhhhh! (Y/N), Why?" Louis screamed out in pain.

"Louis, Oh My God! I'm so sorry!" I was then screaming too. Mine was more panicky.

He looked up at me with two puffy blue eyes. And without warning, he kissed me. It was short and sweet. It was the perfect 'hello' kiss.

"I missed you so much (Y/N)!" He said after we had broken apart.

"I missed you too!" I said relieved he wasn't badly injured or mad. I realized he was wearing his Santa hat I had sent him. And on his wrist was the watch. It fit perfectly. I couldn't help but smile.

"Did you read the dog?" He asked me

"Oh, no! I forgot!" I said remembering.

"He's OUR dog. For both of us." He said. That was sweet. A dog That represented our love. It was cute.

"I love him. He's adorable!" I said looking at the lab.

"Come see.. Come see.." I said in a baby talk kind of way. That mad Louis smile. I read the note taped on his rib cage that read 'You can open now'. I looked at Louis who pointed to the small box under the tree. I grabbed it excited to see what it was. I ripped apart the Santa wrapping paper to find a small velvet box. Louis took it form my grasp. And got on one knee beside me.

"(Y/F/N), will you marry me?" He asked, a wide smile on his face.

"Yes! Yes, Louis!" I said practically yelling. He slid the diamond ring on my finger.

"I love you so much, (Y/N)!" Louis said hugging me tight.

"How about we call him Tomlinson. Since it'll be all of our names." He said referring to the dog. A smile still glued to his face.

"Sounds great." I agreed. We shared another short kiss before breaking apart.

"Merry Christmas, Louis." I said.

"Merry Christmas, Mrs. Tomlinson." He said back to me.
