I woke up quite late. The sun was beaming through my windows and I was tangled in my bed covers. I sat up in my bed and grabbed my phone. I saw I had one message. I opened it up and noticed it was from Matt, a huge smile spread across my face. 

From Matt 

Hey Danielle, I was wondering if you would like to go to the founders party with me today? It might be boring so It will be great to go with you :) 

To Matt

Hey, I would love to ;) 

I put my phone down and grabbed my dressing gown. I went downstiard and saw Stefan and Damon sat in the same room with eachother just on oppsoite couches. 

"Morning" I said in a sing song tune walking past them into the kitchen.

"You sound in a good mood this morning" Stefan said to me, I smiled at him. 

"Well Matt asked me to go to the founders party with him" I said. 

"I thought you werent gonna go" Damon stood up saying to me. 

"Well i've changed my mind" I was still mad at him from last night, killing that poor innocent man! I made my coffee then went upstairs to get ready. I did my routine then got changed. 

I then walked downstairs and saw Stefan about to leave. 

"I'll see you there" I said to him. He turned round and smiled. 

"You look very nice" he said I smileed thanking him, he then walked out the door. I sat down on the sofa waiting for Matt, not long later the doorbell rang. I opened the door and saw Matt looking very smart in his suit. 

"Good afternoon, why you look very beautiful today" He told me in a posh voice. 

"Why thank you" I said, he opened his arm and I took it and we linked to the car laughing. He drove us to the Lockwood mansion, everyone looked very formal and there was a big line waiting to go in. We stood in the line and eventually we were at the front. 

"Hello, I'm mayor Lockwood" He reached his hand out for me to shake. 

"I'm Danielle" I smiled taking his hand and shaking it politily. 

"Its great to meet you, come on in" I was releaved that he said those words, inviting me in.  As soon as we entered people were offering us drinks, snacks and introducing themselves. Me and Matt had a glass of champaigne each and we were stood chatting. Suddenly my eyes looked to the door and I saw Damon with that gobby blonde Caroline. What is he doing here?! Mrs Lockwoord went to the door and Damon just stood out not being able to come. I listened closely while Matt was talking to someone. 

"Heloo mrs lockwood, this is my boyfriend, Damon" Boyfriend? You have got to be kidding. A  hint of jelousy ran through my body but I shook it off. They both linked but then Caroline went off and started to talk to the sheriff, Damon noticed me and walked over to me. 

"You having fun with your date?" he said, sarcastically. 

"First of all he isnt my date we just came here as friends and secondly, what are you doing here?" I asked him, not happy one bit. 

"Thought it would be fun to relive the olden days" he said to me. 

It got later in the night and me and Matt were dancing together with the slow music. I was actually having a really good time with him tonight. 

"Do you wanna go look around?" he asked. I smiled and nodded. He grabbed my hand and we were looking at all the stuff that Elenas mother and father had. I saw a beautiful bracelet that was diamanti. 

"Hey Danielle, come look at this all the old generations" I walked over to see what he was looking at. He was saying all these old names then he stopped.

Is that Danielle Rose Patterson, Stefan Salvatore, Damon Salvatore?" he looked at me confused. 

"Our ancestors, I take my name from my great great grandmother" I said, He smiled and nodded.

"Wanna dance?" he said, I nodded and took his hand. We slow danced to one of my favourite songs. I looked next to me and saw Stefan and Elena dancing, i smiled at Elena and she smiled waving at me.

I knew Danielle was going to the party with Matt so I thought I would turn up with Caroline hoping it would make her jelous, but no it made me jelous seeing her with him. Dancing, holding hands, laughing. It wasnt just because i loved her though, it was because I wanted my bestfriend back, we were like that 10 years ago and now she has someone else all because of me. 

"They look so cute together" Caroline said next to me while we were both looking at Daniellena and Matt.

"Dont talk please" I said. 

Suddenly I watched Elena walk away from Stefan, I smirked to myself. I walked away and went upstairs looking for Caroline. I then heard her voice behind me.

"Where have you been?" She said, I grabbed her hand. 

"Looking for yoou" I said walking away with her. I brought  her into a room. 

"Your brother barely danced with me for 5 minutes" she explained.

"Just stand right there" I faced her against the door. I opened a box and saw a jewelle. Just what I wanted. 

"Erm your not supposed to touch" Her annoying little voice was ringing in my ear.

"Whats that?" 

"A very important crystal" I shut the box and put it back.

"Well how did you know it was there?" She asked me.

"Cause I put it there" 

"When?"

"A long time ago and tonight I'm taking it back thanks to you"

"Whats it for?" I grabbed her shoulders and we headed out the door.

"Never you mind" 

"You cant just steal it!"

"Its not stealing, its mine come on!"

we went back downstairs and persuaded her to dance to forget. She then left to the ladies room. Suddenly Elena ran up to me. 

"There is something seriously wrong with you! Stay away from Caroline or I will go straight to her mother. The sheriff. got it? Stay away from her" she then walked away. What has Caroline been saying?! I went to go find that blonde bitch. I finally found her looking like a lost puppy in a crowd of people outside. I grabbed her arm but made it look suttle. She didnt fight me back which suprised me. 

"Come with me" I whispered sharply into her ear. We walked away from everywhere else and I made sure we werent near anyone.

"No, dont" she started to turn around and now started to fight back. I stayed calm and grabbed her to stop her. I grabbed both her shoulders and made her look at me. 

"She took it off and I got flustered okay! I didnt know what to say, but I swear okay I did not tell her, I just told her that you didnt mean to hurt me!" she paniced. I made myself calm so she didnt go screaming. I put my hands on her shoulders and could feel her tense up.

"You make me crazy you know that?" 

"Its okay I forgive you" I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her neck. 

"It's okay. Unfortunatly i am so over you now" I smelt her blood and my fangs came out. I bit into her neck and sucked her sweet sweet blood out from her veins. Suddenly I felt a burning, stinging sensation in my throat. My mouth became dry and I fell to the ground. Vervain. I watched Stefan come walking round the corner as if he was waiting for me there.

"I knew I couldn't spike your drink, so I spiked hers" he said walking closer to me. I couldnt breath. He knelt down next to Caroline then suddenly picked me up and vamped back home. He dropped me in the cage in the  basement. I was to weak to fight back.
