The founders party was the last time I saw Damon, I havent seen him since. That night me and Matt left early and went to the grill for a few drinks. We have become so good friends, Stefan is acting strange lately. He's been in and out the house for the past few days. He's not hiding something from me is he? We never hide anything from eachother. I got up from out of bed and had a shower, I did my routine then got ready. ()

I went downstairs and noticed Damons phone on the shelf. I walked towards it and noticed every message I sent him had been deleted. I put it back on the self and went into the kitchen. I saw Zack making coffee.

"Make that two" I said to him smiling. I went to the fridge for something to eat.

"Its probably best to stay out the basement" I heard Stefan say as he was walking into the kitchen not noticing me. 

"Why?" As soon as he heard my voice his head shot up. 

"Danielle, what are you doing here?" he asked, shocked that I was here.

"Last time I checked i lived here. Why can't we go in the basement? Whos's down there?" I asked.

"Nobody! Just the erm vervain plant has fell so it's all over" Stefan explained, I knew he was lying. I nodded going along with it then thanked Zach for making my coffee. I went back upstairs and read my book for a bit. I decided that I'll go to the grill for something to eat. But something was seriously on my mind, What was going on in the basement. I put my boots on and looked around the house to see if anyone was in. Stefan must be at school but I saw no sign of Zack. I opened the huge door to the basement, I started to slowly walk down the stairs when I heard coughing which sounded exactly like Damon. I walked faster going to the cell. I opened the window cover and saw Damon, lying on the floor weak and suffereing. 

"Stefan" he managed to call out. 

"Damon its me" I said to him. He turned his head and looked at me, his eyes were hurt. 

"Danielle" he called out straight away.

"You must of done something really bad to get put in here" I said to him but he didnt reply instead he just stared at me. I coukld tell in his eyes how bad he was hurting and how he couldn't do anything. 

"I can't get you out Damon, I have no key and Stefan won't be happy" I said to him. I saw a tear roll down his cheek and his and reaching up to wipe it so i couldn't see. He was shaking. His head turned the other way which made me feel really bad. 

"Look, I'll talk to Stefan, just hang in there" I shut the gap and walked back upstairs locking the basement door. It was 2;30 and Stefan finished school at 3 and I was super hungry so since we had no food in the house I drove to the grill. I walked in and saw Matt playing pool. I snuck up on him and scared him. We both laaughed.

"What are you doing here?" He asked smiling. 

"I am starving and I have no food in the house" I said which made him laugh. 

"I'll go and fetch you somehting" he said. I sat down and texted Stefan.

To Stefan- We need to talk. meet me at grill when your on your way home. 

 Matt then walked in with a sandwich for me. I smiled and thanked him and he sat opposite me eating too. We sat chatting for a while then Stefan came to me.

"Matt I'm gonna have to go, I'll talk later" I said and we hugged. Stefan didnt have a car so we got in my car, before I started to drive I looked at him. 

"Why is Damon in the tomb?" I told him, he looked down.

"Stefan!" I shouted. 

"He needs to die! He kills Danielle, Its not safe!" he said to me.
