Carter Stevens.

* Want to start off apologizing for the wait I'm updating four stories at a time because I still have 30+ books I need to write, lol.

** Though there isn't a sexual situation (unfortunately, lol) love is in the air when it comes to Carter & Ethan especially when Ethan has a very steamy dream about Carter.  However, Felix isn't having it.

*** Sorry if this chapter seems rubbish I had a bit of writer's block.

Chapter 3 (started 5/9/2016)

Ethan burst into the room resting Julie down on the bed while he threw whatever he owned into his bookbag including the clothes Charlotte had just washed, dried and folded for them. He was just about to zip it up when it was yanked from his hand and held out of reach.

"Give it back!" He glared at Carter who was the obvious culprit.

"You're not leaving." He took a step back when Ethan grabbed for the bag; however, being just a few inches taller paid off because Ethan couldn't take the bag from him.

"The hell I am!  I'm not staying where I'm not wanted."

"And who said you're not wanted?!"

"Your brother made it quite clear that I need to leave." Yet again Ethan barely missed the bag when he tried to swipe it.

"Felix?! He's not important. Charlotte and I would like you to st-," Ethan tried to grab his bag this time but he tripped Carter up with his foot and the two were suddenly falling to the floor. They landed with a dull thud, both of them stared wide-eyed at each other because how close their lips were to touching. Not to mention the fact that they were now laying on top of each other in the middle of the floor.  Ethan took a shaky breath and lifted himself up Carter moved up as well still keeping a closeness to Ethan.  Keeping just centimeters between his lips and Ethan's; their warm breath intermingling, a mix of peppermint and cinnamon.  His hand slowly drifted up to Ethan's waist where it rested for a moment.  He tried to wonder why he kept closing the distance between them but someone clearing their throat by the door grabbed his attention.

"Everything okay in here?"  Charlotte asked.

"Y-yes." Carter mumbled practically pushing Ethan off of him.

"Uh-huh, sure.  Well hurry up and come down for breakfast.  And Ethan, you and Julie are staying, period."

"O-okay."

"I should go." Carter said hopping up and leaving Ethan sitting there on the floor and Julie, who had fallen asleep was still on the bed. After exiting the room Carter was surprised Charlotte hadn't got very far.

"I thought you said there was nothing between you two?"

"There's not." Carter was a little annoyed at how smug his sister was being.

"Okay.  If you say so."

Once everyone was back downstairs they sat down at the table to eat and discuss plans for the house.

"So I think we should get started first thing tomorrow morning, if that works for everyone."  Felix said.  "That way it gets done quickly and we can sell it just as quickly."

"That's fine with me," Ethan replied.

"Oh?  Is it."
