The Crash

We cruised through space in our ship. It was fairly small and looked a bit like all the other ones. My sister's, however, was much more intelligent, bigger, and faster.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice shout. It just couldn't be....

"ARGGHH!!!! GET OUTTA THE WAY!!!!"

Someone slammed into my ship and I went out of control. All I could hear was my screaming. Bug was also freaking out. She clung to me like glue as we started to head toward this green and blue planet.

Smoke started clouding up my vision. The ship was burning!

We spiraled closer to the strange planet.

"GAHHHHHH!"

CRASH!

I hurled myself out of my flaming ship. Then my eyes flew open.

"The supplies! BUG! Hurry and get them out of the trunk!" I panicked.

Dazed, Bug quickly got everything that survived the crash out. At least we had our Disguiser. I looked at the disguises for this planet.

"Geez, the inhabitants are ugly!" I muttered to myself.

I chose a brunette with a blue shirt that had a gray netural face on it. She also had a black trench coat and big boots. Her hair was a little messy and her eyes were a deep blue. She had big round glasses. At least she was the prettiest I could find.

I turned my disguise on and painlessly morphed into the human body I chose.

It was Bug's turn to become incognito. The disguise was a tabby cat. Her fur looked sleek and well groomed. Bug agreed it was good and she suddenly transformed into the cat we had seen.

"Now Bug, to be a cat, you must act like one." I told her cautiously.

She nodded and chanted, "Yes ma'am!" Bug did't talk after that. All she did was groom her coat and purr. I looked at her with a spark of gratefulness in my eyes as we took the remaining supplies of our stuff and tried to find somewhere to live. That's when I thought about the ship.

"Darnit! What will I do with the ship!?" I mumbled to myself. I couldn't just leave it out in the open, or else one of the inhabitants may become suspicious or even take it. It had some very important information about Irk on it and if it got into the wrong hands, the results could be disastrous for my race. And I couldn't just carry it to wherever we were going because someone would see me and know that I'm not part of their species. After a few minutes of thinking and pacing, I came up with something. I would disguise it to be a giant balloon.

It worked!

I walked down the sidewalk with a red balloon with an Irken logo on it. Bug strutted close by me as we trekked on. It was so quiet and peaceful at night, yet I got this creeping feeling that I was being watched by someone. I spun my head around to see if they were following me. No one was there, but I thought I had saw someone when I turning to look. I shrugged and walked on.

We found an alley way that looked abandoned in a very unnoticeable part of town. When I used a shelter-building gadget, a giant wall came out of the ground. It had a window which displayed shoes, but there was crossing tape that said "CLOSED" on it so no one would come in. A dome-like roof was formed at the top, and it looked very nice. When I went inside, I went to the back and pulled a lever. The ground beneath Bug and I broke and we went down in an elevator. Below the ground was my real secret base, not just some dumb old shoe shop. I decided to make a call to Gim so I pulled her up.

"Huh? Oh, hello, Pib! Is the mission going well? Did you settle in?" she asked cheerfully. I swallowed. What should I tell her? Should I lie, or tell her the truth? I decided to be brave and tell her what was really going on.

"Er, Gim...?" I swallowed. She gave me a questioning look and said, "What did you do this time, sis?"

"It wasn't me! Some idiot slammed into my ship and I spiraled toward a different planet!" I cried. She gasped and just stared at me.

"My ship caught fire and is now all wrecked up and in no shape to use," I continued, "I guess I could make myself useful and scout this planet for anything we may find helpful."

Gim scratched her head and said, "Well, you may need to talk to the Tallests about that..." she trailed off as something exploded. Her eyes grew wide and she quickly yelled, "I have to go bye!" She hung up immediately. I stepped back from my screen, startled. Is she in trouble? I guess I'm not the only one....
