END OF SCHOOL DAY:PARKING LOT

I walked out of the building.

Well first day of ignoring the distractions went great.

The things that I didn't want to happen- happened.

This day sucks.

I saw the students leave in their cars.

I wish I could leave.

I looked at my phone to see when my mom would show up

Mom:
Running late. Sorry :(

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I saw Cindy get in her car with her plastic barbies and
Drive off.

She wasn't the only one I saw.

He was there.

He pulled up next to me

"Need a lift?" He offered.

"No my mom is just running late" I responded.

"Come on, I heard its gonna rain soon, are you sure you want to stay" he continued to offer.

My phone vibrated.

Mom:
Stuck in traffic, it's gonna take a while. I sujust you get a ride from a friend.

Perfect.

I decided that I shouldn't stay in the parking lot if my mom is going to be late while I get rained on.

"Hello?" Ansel said. "You coming in or not?"

I did an approving smile.

He reached over and opened the door for me.

I got in.

He drove off.

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

He broke the silence with a smile. But that smile lead to words.
" So where did you go?"

Did  he really not know? Or was he just trying to make small talk. It seemed like every knew.

"You seriously do not know?" I questioned.

He made a polite smile.
" I seriously do not know." He responded.

"Well I ran away with a very close "friend"" I lied. Well I guess I didn't actually lie. I did run away with a close friend.
But he was more than a friend to me. He was special.

"Cool. Where did you guys go?"

"New York City."

"Ooh, the big apple"

"Yes, the big apple"

" Did you guys go to a bunch of venues?"

"No, we barley spent anytime in New York actually"

"Well where did you guys go for such a long period of time?"

I did not know how to reply to that. Do I say the true part or non of it.

"Just home."  That was my awnser.

" Well everyone was missing you here"

" doubt it" I responded.

"Well, probably not everyone but I know I missed you."

"Again, doubt it."

"Seriously I miss your amazingness"
I blushed.

" well at least someone missed it"

We both chuckled.

Raindrops started hitting the windshield.

"Told you"

"Shut up

We chuckeled again

" what would you do if I didn't offer you a ride and you were all alone standing in the rain"

What I wanted to say "to be honest, I would have called you."

But instead I said.

" My BOSS ASS LIMOUSINE DRIVER!"

We broke out laughing.

I stopped when I saw a billboard advertising Tegana Rovons.

" hey are you okay?" He looked concerned.

" yeah, yeah, I'm fine" I lied. I started thinking of Dylan.

I shouldn't be here.

"Hey, just because it is raining doesn't mean you should be sad"

"yah,yah, I know" I wiped away a tear. The more I thought about Dylan the sadder I got.

He looked concern again.

He pulled over.

He turned around and looked at me.

"Are you sure you are okay?"

"Yah, I'm fine" my voice cracked.  I'm not fine. I should not be here but, I am.  There is nothing I can do about it.

He responded with a concerned look.

Tear slipped away from my eye. I was trying to contain my emotions because it was hard enough trying to contain them in my head.

"Tell me the truth" he said.

"Yah, I'm fi-" I bursted into tears.

"Woahwoahwoah" he said quickly.

He immediately put his arms around me, crating me back and forth.

I started hyperventilating

"Calm down. Just listen to my voice" he said.

I let out a weep.

"Shhhhhh" he continued.

10 MINS LATER

I stopped hyperventilating.

My face began to clear up.

I was about to speak but he shooshed me.

He continued to crattle me.
It was comforting.
It took my mind off of Dylan.

I ended up falling asleep in his arms.

It wasn't too long till he passed out too.
