Jordan's POV

I almost had my prey when a mumbled cry was carried through the slight breeze. I turned back into my human form to search for the crying. I came across a girl in my class under a tree. I couldn't remember her name, Leslie, Lucy, LaTisha... "Hey, why are you crying?" I asked her. "I have to move away, and I was just starting to get respect!" I stared at her hard. "It's ok. I'm moving away too," I told her, "We might end up in the same place." She stopped crying, and told me "I didn't mean to ruin your dinner. Do you want me to buy you something? I saw a really cool-" I interrupted her by saying "How did you know about my meal?" She stared at me in horror as she stuttered "I didn't m-me-mean t-t-to read your thoughts, I just-", she stopped there staring at me in more shock and horror. I looked at her and said "What did you say?" She looked down at the top of my All-Stars, and says "I can read minds."

Cameron's POV

"Wow," I said. I stared at my mom, and pleaded. "Mom, don't make me leave!" My dad looked over at me and said "Cameron Bordan McKnight, we have to leave. Mortals are starting to get suspicious, people are loosing jobs, and the world need saving." My eyes almost came out of my head as he said the last part. "Dad, did you just say we are saving the world?" My mom shook her head at my dad. "You should have never said that, hunny."
