Ok, so. I know what you are thinking: 'this book sucks so far, but it will get better, right?' Well if it sucks now, then it yeah, I'll read over it and make it better.

25 Minutes earlier

"Ok, no mom your right," I say, "dad should have never said that. I'm freaking out!" My mom patted my arm and said "Lisa, hunny, you will do fine." Well, when you put it like that that makes it seem- WAIT!! "Mom," I said cautiously, "Did you say me, like, me only??" My mom shook her head vigorously, "No, you will have help. Three more supernatural kids will help you." I asked her who were they. "Oh, there's Cameron McKnight, Jordan Sydun, and Wendy King." I froze right there, "MOM! Did you just say 'Wendy King'?" My mom nodded her head in approval. "She is such a nice girl, I don't know why in Ydafer's name that you and your friends don't like her." Maybe she pushed Lucy on a barn stable when we went to the farm on a field trip. My dad, walking back in the room, kisses my mom and sat down. I wanted to get off the subject, do I asked my mom what's for dinner, and she replied with "It's your last day here, go grab something to eat." I hugged her, kissed my dad, and ran out the door. I didn't want to take my car, so I ran out of the driveway and into the street.

I started crying, and I put my head down. "Hey, what's wrong?" I hear a voice ask. I look up to see a boy I've only seen in school. He sat down as I told him, "I'm about to move away, and I just started getting respect!" I look up and see him staring at me hard. I wanted to know why he was looking at me so hard. I focused on his brain, and heard his thoughts loud and clear 'The fuck! Why in the hell is she crying over respect?! She made me loose my meal!' But instead he said, "It's ok. I'm moving away too. We might end up in the same place!" I felt bad and said "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your meal. Do you want me to buy you something? I saw a really cool-" I was interrupted by him, "How did you know about my meal?" I stared at him in horror about what I just said. "I didn't m-me-mean t-t-to read your thoughts, I just-" I stopped right there and stared at him with more shock and horror. "What did you just stay?" he asked me. I stared at the top of his All-Stars, and blurted out the the truth, "I can read minds." Instead of looking shocked, he replied with "Cool." I eyed him suspiciously and asked "Why is it cool?" He shrugged and said "Now I'm not the only one with a supernatural power." Then it was my turn to look shocked, "What's yours," I asked. "I'm a deman." I stood up. Demans were bad, very bad.
