New Girl

Alone

Never have I felt more alone.. As soon as the bell went for last period to end I ran to the nearest park and held my knees up against my chest while sitting on a branch in a tree. The clouds made me feel better by dimming the light. After a few hours of sitting in the tree the clouds began to clear and I could see the stars. I'm not sure why I felt alone but I just did. Ugh. My phone is buzzing. I checked the time and noticed it was 7pm and I hadn't told anyone where I went. 3 missed calls from Grayson, 11 missed calls from Daniel and 5 missed calls from Amy. I grab my bag and jump out of the tree. I made it back to the room and I was blasted with questions from everyone asking where I was and how much they were worried. I assured them I was fine and I just wanted some alone time. Daniel huger me and begged "babe please never do that again, you have no idea how worried I was."
I couldn't hold it in anymore. I ran across the hallway to Daniel & Jacobs empty room and burst into tears.
After a few seconds Daniel came in and held me in his arms. "What's going on?" He whispered in my ear. I tell him that I feel alone and I don't know why.. "Aurora, I don't know where to start. I know what you mean by how you feel alone but you really aren't, we were all so worried about where you were and you weren't answering our calls but I must ask one thing... If you wanna be alone for a while it's okay just make sure to let one of us know. I love you and I don't ever want anything to happen to you."

I still can't figure out why I felt so lonely but in Daniels arms everything went away. All my worries and troubles and thoughts.

I must have fallen asleep in his arms again.. The time on my phone says 1am exactly. Daniel asked if I was okay and I told him how sorry I was for what had happened earlier.

I got up and everyone was asleep so I went back to my room and snuggled under the covers. I was almost out to it again until a gentle hand rested on my shoulder and whispered "Im here for you okay?" It was Hayes. Hayes had been one of my best friends for so long and I had to hop out of bed and hug him, in a friendly way obviously.
I have the best friends I could ever want or need.
