Friends?

I can't believe it. The one and only THOMAS SANGSTER is sitting right next to me! This is amazing! On no. My face is turning red. I have to get out of here. What the heck! I can't leave! Thomas is sitting right next to me and I want to leave? This is unreal.
       I sit for a while, slowly drinking my coffee and stealing glances at Thomas. This time, when I glanced at Thomas, he was looking right into my eyes. I looked away and stood up abruptly.
       "Hey!" I froze. I'd know that voice anywhere. "Do you want to sit with us?" Oh my gosh. Thomas Sangster just invited me to sit with him and his friends. I try to compose myself and accept the offer. He pulls up a chair right next to him and pats the seat. "I'm Thomas. Thomas Sangster." I smile and nod like an idiot. He starts pointing around the table, listing off everyone's name. I pretend they are all new to me, even though I recognize everyone immediately.   "This is Ki, Dylan, Kaya and Will"
"Hi!" I sound so stupid. They all stare at me. "Oh, sorry, I'm Payton Henry." Wow. I'm not good at this.
"Why were you by yourself?" Dylan asked, looking confused. Kaya punches him lightly on the arm. "Oh, I'm sorry, that was a stupid question." Dylan's face turns light pink.
"I just moved here. My mom told me I needed to get out of the house, so here I am!"
"Where did you move from?" Thomas asks.
"Well..." I stumble over my words. "I used to live in San Francisco, but my mom and dad just divorced. Now I live here with my mom." I start playing with my fingers.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Kaya looks at me, her eyes full of sympathy. "Do you want to come over sometime?"
"Yeah!"  I can hardly contain my excitement. "When are you free?"
"Well, we just finished filming in New Mexico. I'm pretty sure we get a break." Kaya looks at Dylan to confirm her suspicion. He nods.
"Oh yeah! Were you filming The Scorch Trials?" 
"Yeah! Are you a Maze Runner fan?"
"YES!" I practically scream. The barista gives me the evil eye. "Sorry, I mean, yes, I am." Everyone laughs. It feels good to have a group of people to laugh with.
