Thomas's POV
"Why did you do that?" Dylan said angrily as he slammed my door. "You shouldn't have invited her to sit down. She is clearly knows who we are, and now she is going to run and tell all her little friends that we let her sit with us. We will have to sit with every teenage fangirl in the area."
"Gees Dylan, cool it! The poor guy did something nice! Leave him alone!" Kaya said with equal force.
"Ugh." Dylan sighed and ran his hands over his face and into his hair. "I didn't mean to be rude, but man, why?"
"I don't know." I looked away from Dylan. I lied. I do know. She has the eyes of someone who has been through a lot of emotional pain. She was all alone and hurting. I couldn't let her leave alone too. I wish I could tell Dylan this, but he wouldn't understand. He has never seen the world through broken eyes like Peyton and I have. I need to talk to this girl. I need to know what's hurting her.
