Angel's P.O.V.

This is the most awkward dinner in my entire life. Everyone is eating like they aren't enemies at all, as if this is some regular dinner gathering.

My father sat at the head of the table with my mother in the seat next to him, and my brother sat across from her. I sat next to my mother, hoping she'll see how sick I look and excuse me from dinner. The triplets' sisters sat next to me. Their father sat at the head at the of the other end of the table with his wife next to him. Lastly, across from me were the triplets with my twin sisters spaced between them.

Cater and Olivia had the choice to eat with us or in the kitchen. They chose the kitchen; they knew this wasn't going to be one of those happy evening meals.

Everyone ate in silence, only talking when they ask for someone to pass them a dish. I was getting the feeling that everyone was scared to say the first word, as if they would get shot if they do. Of course I wasn't going to speak. I didn't even want to be here with everyone. The one question of why the Cameron family was doing here weighed heavily in my mind.

"So what brings you and your family over to my territory?" My father's deep voice made me jump, cutting through the silence and straight to the point. All eyes turned to the other end of the table at Mr. Cameron. "There must be a good reason to have come at this time of day."

"Yes it's about our son Ryan," he said clearly, gesturing his wine glass over to Ryan. "We got a call today from his school about his rampage during lunch. Luckily, no one was hurt."

"What that have to do with this pack?"

"Our son is close to going over," said their mother, her voice soft and airy. "We want to prevent this from happening."

"That only happens when mates haven't claimed each other yet," said my mother. I only slide down my chair, trying not to be seen. "why won't his mate mark him?"

"Things are a little more.." said Ryan staring at me while he spoke "complicated than what they seem."

"I don't see how my pack-"

"With all respect," said their father, cutting off my father, "their mate is in your pack."

"That's impossible," said my brother. I only slide down my chair, hoping I vanish somewhere far from here. "We don't have a Blood Truce with your pack." I notice that both my mother and father were a little tense. From what, I really didn't care; I just wanted this dinner over. "Right?"

"Wait, you said their mate?" my mother question.

"Yes our three sons have the same mate," said their mother quietly.

There was a moment of silence before their father spoke. "Apparently, they were under the Seal of Silence which only can be used by someone in an alpha's family."

"As you know, it's common for two males to be mated to each other." their father added.

"Yes, we know." said my mother, looking over at my brother. My heart felt like it was about to give out. My brother threw his hands up. "It's not me, I found my mate two days ago." he said.

"What and you didn't tell me!" shouted my mother.

I had to get out of this room and fast. Accidentally, I spilled my drink on myself and jumped up like my pants were on fire. I headed for the kitchen, where I had already planned to run out the back door and flee. I didn't care what Rebecca had told me, I just wanted out. I could change my name to maybe Alex or John. Yea, John is good. There are thousands of Johns; they won't be able to find me. I'm going to need money, so I probably would have to become a robber or something. Just leave my last days free and clear. My mind ran with the idea before I was even out the door.
