Cassie's POV:
"Hey Cass..you okay?" I hadn't even noticed Julie until she said something. I had just been staring into my locker. I shrugged and she gave me a confused glance.
"Cass?"
"What!" I spat and she stepped back a little.
"I just..uhm.."
"Just..leave me alone." I put my head against my locked and hoped she just leave and eventually she did.
Thank god.
"Can we talk?" Louis' voice cane from out of nowhere.
"There's nothing to talk about." I grabbed my books and slammed my locker shut and walked forwards I felt him hot on my trail and it only made me want to run down the hallway.
"Cass. Stop." he grabbed my arm and gave me a pleading look.
"Hurry up." I sighed and he laced his fingers around mine and trailed us outside. Good thing because all I wanted to do was scream at him.
Loudly.
"I don't want to loose you honestly." he said as soon as the cool breeze hit my face.
"Okay."
"Do you have feelings for me?"
Yes.
"No." I looked at my shoes. Everything seems much more interesting when you are having a serious conversation.
"Bullshit."
"I hate you Louis." I looked at him and his eyes fell.
"I hate you too."
"Then leave me alone!" I shouted and he stepped back a little "all you have done since that party a few weeks ago is fuck with me! You come over and get heated and shove your fucking hands down my shirt then the next your saying it means shit to you then you're out here telling me, I mean something to you and you don't want to lose me? How the hell is that fair?" I breathed out the words. I didn't even feel like it was my mouth. He stared at me some more and I ran my hands through my hair tossing it around.
"It's not like that."
"Then please, amuse me. What is it like then? Do you just like seeing me hurt?" I gave him a glance then stared at his arms and legs and then his hair. Just a few nights ago he was in my bed with arms around me kissing me and I loved it. My hands wrapped in his light brown hair and his arms tugging against my shirt begging for me to take it off but I'd just tease and go to sleep. It was nice and not complicated. But now, this is complicated.
"I'm sorry..I never meant to hurt you."
"Louis please..leave me alone." I crossed my arms and looked down at my dirty white converse.
"I can't."
"Why! Why do you want to hurt me?" I pushed him forward and he stumbled and grabbed my arms.
"I need you."
"Sa-" his lips attached to mine and I went from being tense to melting in a second. He let go of my arms and wrapped his arms around my back tightly and I put mine to his hair, where they belonged. He smiled against my lips and I stepped closer.
"I need you more than you'll ever know." he breathed against my lips and I couldn't help but smile.
"I have an idea." I was stupid, so fucking stupid for forgiving him, so quickly too. But I needed him more than he needed me.
...
..
.
"We have to talk about Louis staying here!" my mom said standing by the stove and my dad standing close next to her. I sat on one of the chairs and waited for them to continue.
"Did you think we wouldn't find out Cass?" my dad muttered.
"No..I don't know?" I looked up and they gave me a glare and I fiddled with my hands and focused my attention away from them.
"What did you two do up there?" my dad asked and I shivered.
"That's..really none of your business." I continued to stare away from them.
"No we need to know." my dad said louder than I would have liked.
"Is it anything like the one night?" my mom spoke lightly and I looked to see my dad cringing.
"What happened one night?" my dad asked my mom.
"Oh my god!" I pushed my hair back, I hate Kara.
"They were tackling each other on the couch. How long has this been going on?" my mom interrogated.
Kill me.
"Don't know." I shrugged and stared at my pale hands.
"Cassandra! You better start being truthful or you are so beyond grounded!" my dad shouted and I squirmed.
"Like..around maybe..two weeks?" I looked up and my mom ran her hands through her hair and my dad sighed.
"You're grounded." they both said simultaneously.
"I know." I breathed out.
"And you're never to see Louis again." my dad stated and my heart sank at his words.
"No." I sighed "no I won't no I'm not gonna stay away from him."
"Yes you are Cassandra." my mom gave me a stern glare and I rolled my eyes.
"I won't."
"Stay away from him! While you live in our house! You live under our rules!" my dad shouted and stepped towards me and my mom nodded along with him.
"Fine. Then I'm leaving!" I shouted back and rushed for the door. I didn't know where, I just knew I didn't want to be home right now.
