William loved the smell of the rain. The smell of the rain reminded him of his mother. They would run and play in the rain at sunset until you could see the sun no more.

William sat on a big wet rock on top of the hill. The sky began to darken and began getting cold. It began to rain. William looked up at the dark cold sky remembering all the moments he had spend with his mother on that hill.

He closed his eyes sobbing into his knees. Why?Why did it have to be her? Why did it have to be my own mother? She was the best thing in my life, the only person that cared for me! And that... That thing. Took it away. William questioned himself until he heard a loud dark intimidating growl. William looked up to the sky where he thought the growl had come from but saw nothing. He stared at that spot for a while until he heard another growl to his left.
He thought he was dreaming.
The beast wripped a huge hole and came out of it. It was a great giant dreadful dragon.
Dragons where only said to be a legend.
William ducked behind the rock. Closely looking at the beast. William was schooled at what he was seeing. His bright blue eyes looked a colorless grey , he was scared.

The dragon flew around the trees as if it were looking for something. Several men tried hitting it with arrows but as soon as they tried the dragon killed them by a great blow of fire.
William was even more scared now , the beast was getting closer to him by the second. The dragon let out a loud growl and went flying up wards into the sky until he was no More to be seen.

William ran as fast as he could back to his house in the field where he lived with His father, brother and grandmother.
"Father! Father!" William came shouting in the house.
"Stop yelling boy! What's the matter with you?!" Yelled his father.
"I just saw a great big dragon flying in the sky father! I-It's heading towards town-"
"D-Dragon?" Said his father trying not to laugh. William's brother and grandmother legan to laugh again.
"Y-Yes! It was a really big one too!"
"Listen boy. Dragons ain't real! They're just a legend to keep boys like you safe!" His father was now laughing along with everyone else. William began to get red.
"That poor kid doesn't even now what to make up anymore" said his grandmother dying with laughter.
"I-It's true father! I'm not lying!" William argued.
"Don't you yell at me boy!" Yelled his father.
William's eyes began to water and ran towards his room, hearing laughs from the main room and jokes being told about him.

William's father ; Thomas. Never liked william from the day he was born. On the night of the wedding  of William's mother; Anne, had been taken away by a noble and had been raped. William was the son of a noble, a cruel noble that the town disliked very much, sir Favian. Favian had raped and murder and robed many people to get what he wanted. William's whole family hated him and his true father; except his mother. William's mother hated Favian but loved William.

William opened a window and tried getting out as quickly as possible.
"Ooooo. Where do you think you're going little brother?" William's brother; Zoricus walked in on william trying to escape.
"I-I'm just going to have a small walk on my own"
"Whatever it doesn't matter. I'm going to go tell father. He will punish you badly."
"Zoricus please don't tell father!" William begged impatiently
"Why shall I not? After all you're the son of a Noble" teased mischievously Zoricus and ran to the main room.
I've got to get out out of here!
William got out of the window and ran to the small hut where their horse was resting. As soon as he heard William's footsteps approaching he stood up.
"Oh hello philip" william greated his horse Philip.
"Shall we go for a ride?"

William returned to where he had seen the dragon earlier that day. He rode Philip to where the men that the dragon killed lay. William got off Philip to take a closer look.
"Wait here Philip."
He slowly walked towards the skeletons.
"Wow. The flesh got all burned even the skeletons. This will be great prove that there really was a dragon Philip! "
Philip looked at william. William took the skull of one of the skeletons and got back on Philip.

"Goodnight philip. Thanks for the ride" william patted philip softly on the head and ran towards the house.

"Fath-" william begun but was stopped by a hard slap.
"Why did you sneak out boy?!" Yelled Thomas to williams face.
"I-I'm very sorry father" william sobbed uncontrollably.
Another hard slap to the face. And another one. And another one. William's left cheek was now bleading and his right one bruced. William looked at his father's cold grey eyes and threw the skull at his stomach and stomped to his room.
His father held the skull in shock and watched william as he went into the room without saying a single word.

"They will believe me. I'll show them."
