(Just to say this entire story will be in Sam's perspective unless said otherwise.)

I walked through the long rows of door. Each one looking rather empty or were empty. For some reason my mom found it necessary to say I wanted a roommate. I just hope whoever they are isn't an asshole.
"Oh go fuck yourself Corey!" Great... I looked at the door the shouting came from to see my room number showing itself brightly in gold letters. Room 621. I just have the most amazing luck. I walked into the room, tapping the door lightly. Two boys stood in the room, obviously furious at the other.
"I'm guessing your Samuel. Amazing introduction that was," The guy rubbed his neck. I nodded in reply.
"Call me Sam," I sighed.
"Okay well I'm Alex and this is Corey. He lives next door," 'Alex' says.
"And I should probably be heading out anyway. This argument isn't over," he smiled at me before walking out, obviously making some sort of face to Alex.
"Okay well. I decided against picking the bunk I wanted just not to be an asshole so pick the top or bottom and you can have that dresser," he pointed to the dresser on the right side of the room, his items already on the other.
"I'd say the bottom since I don't wanna wake you it anything," I shrugged. I started putting my stuff away.
"Wake me how?" He asked.
"Don't sleep. Haven't slept. Don't need to sleep," I commented quietly.
"Vampire?" He rose an eyebrow
"Hybrid," I sighed. He looked at me, a slight bit of disgust in his eyes.
"Yeah. Fie Fie. Vile thing. Old Victorian English insults. Get them all the time. I'm a pure blood vampire, just my father had other ideas of who he would marry. A sprite being one of then," I muttered the last part.
"Wait so you're a vampire sprite," he looked ready to laugh and I shot him a look, my eyes ablaze. He coughed trying to keep a straight face and losing miserably. I rolled my eyes, laughing lightly to let him laugh as well.
"I'm sorry but that sounds so fucking stupid," he laughed.
"And what about you?"
"Phoenix."
"Generic little thing," I joked.
"At least I can't turn into a mosquito," he dropped on the floor laughing. Of course he would refer to that. Small sprite stature and blood sucking. Mosquito. Great...
"If everyone will react like you, I really hope I don't have to tell anyone else," I  finished putting my stuff away and looked at Alex who had finally stopped his laughing fit. Man, I already hate him.
