Niall walked Emily to the car; He did what any gentlemen would do and opened the car door for her. He held out his hand to help her in.
“You’re such a gentlemen Niall!” She smiled and thanked him. He hurried around and got in the car, he was so nervous. He wanted everything to perfect.
“So where are we going to first?” Em asked
“Well, I’m taking you to Nando’s first! Then the second part is a surprise, You’ll have to wait for that one..” Niall giggled.
“I can’t wait to try Nando’s, I heard they’re great place!” Niall reached over to take Em’s hand.
“Great, I can’t wait for you to try them either!” He sighed with relieve.
They finally reached Nando’s, Niall got out and once again opened Emily’s car door and helped her out.
“Thank you love!” She smiled and hugged him. He held out his arm for her to take so he could lead them in. Let me tell you, Paparazzi was everywhere, outside Nando’s. They got to the front and Niall held Emily closer and whispered.
“Don’t reply to any of the reporters, Just smile and I’ll lead you in, Deal?” he smiled.
“Deal!” Emily did as she was told and walked right into Nando’s, with a big smile on her face. Niall and Emily reached their table, Niall pulled out Em’s chair for her like a gentlemen. And then he sat down.
“So, What do ya think so far?” Niall asked while handing Em a menu.
“It’s beautiful here, I love it!” Em started scanning through the menu.
“Niall, I don’t know what anything is on this menu.” She looked up a little embarrassed. Niall looked over his menu and then back down at it again.
“Do you like pasta?” He was for real.
“Of course! Who doesn’t?” Em laughed a little
“Great, I know the best thing to get you then!” Niall waved the waiter over and they ordered their food. Emily was just as nervous as Niall was.
“I can’t wait to see what the ‘Surprise’ is, I’m getting so anxious” She said a little nervous. Niall took Emily’s hand.
“I know you’ll love it, trust me.” Em held Niall’s hand even tighter. Em and Niall talked throughout the whole time they were at Nando’s. Niall kept falling in love more and more Emily talked. He was happy and she was happy.||| By the time they were done with their dinner Niall reminded Emily,
“Member what I said, just smile and walk, I’ll be right behind you, don’t worry.” Niall put his arm around Emily and walked her back to the car. Niall opened the car door for Emily like a gentlemen once again and she thanked him. Niall was defiantly getting nervous because this was the important part of the night. To distract him from feeling this way Niall turned on the radio, He had some of his Tunes on.
“I love this song!” Niall said and started singing. Emily looked over at him and Niall noticed it.
“What ya don’t like?” He stopped.
“No, You’re voice is the most beautiful thing I ever heard! Don’t stop-go on, it doesn’t bother me none!” Emily giggled. It took about an hour to get to where Emily and Niall were going. It was dark out and so far everything was going as planned.
“Ah we’re here beautiful!” Emily blushed. Niall got out and did his routine again.
“Thank you Niall, you’re such a gentlemen!” She got out but Niall stopped her from walking.
“Here put this on.” Niall handed her a blindfold.
“Awe, really Niall? The blindfold?” she laughed
“Yus the blindfold!” He put it on around her eyes and made sure she couldn’t see a thing. Then he put his arms around her waist and whispered,
“Just let me lead you” he smiled and walked. Emily held on to Niall’s hand for dear life. Not that she was scared but she knew it was dark and obviously didn’t know where she was. They walked for about 3 minutes until Niall let Emily take her blindfold off.
“Kay Em, you can take your blindfold off,” He said softly. Emily took it off and gasped. She looked around her and it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. There were candles on the side of the path that lit up the walkway. Red rose pedals were spread out along the path that leads to a pavilion.
“Well, go on. Don’t be afraid.” Niall took her hand and walked with her down there. Once she got there Niall made her stop and look out onto the lake.
“Look Em, out there.” He pointed out to the lake; you could see candles floating in the water. Emily was speechless, she didn’t know what to think or say then Niall began to talk.
“Emily, The past few days we spent together have been the best days of my life. As we talked and talked and as much time as we spent together, I fell in love with you. You’re beautiful, funny, smart, amazing, incredible, and the best damn cook I’ve ever met! It took me awhile to realize YOU’RE the one I want to be with. I can be meself around you. You make me happy and I like that. You’re the reason for my smile. I love you Emily” He got down on one knee and pulled out a little ring case. Emily gasped.
“I want you to be mine forever and always, this is just a promise ring that until we are older that you will stay with me until we can get married. I love you Emily and I want to call you mine, I want you to be mine. I promise to love and take care of you everyday. Will you be my girlfriend, Emily?” Emily started to cry tears of joy.
“I thought you would never ask! Yes a thousand million times yes! I love you too, Niall and I want to be yours for as long as I live, I love you so much! You’re beautiful, amazing, very gentlemen like and I know you’ll take great care of me! I’m always happy when I’m around you. You make me happy and that’s all that matters. My heart beats faster whenever I’m near you, I feel like I can be ME around you. You make me feel whole. So, Yes I will be yours!” He took the ring and put it on her finger. She was still tearing up. Niall got up off of his knee and stood up to hug Emily, He picked her up and spun her around. As Niall let Emily down he said, “You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me, I love you.” Niall leaned in slowly to kiss her. Then it started to pour down rain, it got dark from the candles but they didn’t mind, they kept kissing and smiling. they kissed about 10 times before Niall finally swept her off her feet and carried her to the car. He said, “ I love you, Emily” before he got her to the car. “I love you more, Nialler.” Emily smiled as he closed the door. They couldn’t wait to get home and share the news with everyone. They were both happy that night
