I was struggling with Jay he was trying to take my phone from me, i took a step back to brace myself but he tickled my stomach i let go.

"hey it is mine give it" i jumped on my tippy toes
"i'm like 6inches taller than you, i'm looking" he turned on my phone.

The picture came up to reveal what looked like us well you know, my face turned red with embarassment. Then he smiled.

"would'nt want your dad seeing this"
" yeah i guess"
"i'll erase everyone's memory for you ok" he smirked
I just nodded, i forgot we vampires have memory erasing powers. Everyone's eyes turned yellow so did his, then their phones bepped. I guess that was it he was finished i was safe, we were safe. Wait stop the world i'm getting off, he just did that for me but why like it would'nt benifit him in any...... I stopped he was starring at me.
" i heard that"
" yeah i realised, kindof forgot we can read minds"
"stupid" he teased "let's go somewhere"
"ok"

We drove up to the ice cream parlour, i had to go in cause he was'nt really loved around here. I ran back out to the car" what do you want", " surprise me"
Surprise me he said i'll surprise you with a kick, while staying in line we continuously glaced at each other and then looked off and it continued like that.
I got back into the car with one cone vanilla bean and for him iced cappaciono, hopfully he'll like it. We walked onto the beach and sat close to the water, i wanted to say something but could'nt my thoughts were taking over and then it hit me do i like him.

" the sunset's pretty this evening it's almost a shade of.............. Amber".
I started to blush, all i you could do was smile at him".
"what" he asked
" ok this is weird like i don't know you that well jay and this is....."
" just a friend thing" he smirked
" yeah sure" my voice trailed off

We walked down the beach for a little while, i found myself walking closer to him until there was no space between us anymore. Holding hands and smiling at each other, " just friends?" i said to myself. I really did'nt know what i was doing but the wrong things always seem to right.
