I could listen to her for ours, she makes everything seem so simple. Effortless. I sit at the back of the English class we share, she sits near the front, with her friends. They're always laughing and having fun.
Today was different.
She seemed distant. I stared at her for the whole class. She stared out of the window, tapping her pen between her fingers, her friends we still laughing.
She didn't joint in any conversations with anyone.
And when the bell rung she was the first one to leave.
I hope she's okay.
