Eruaphadriel PoV
I sit on the steps just behind the two guards that stand watching the gate from half way up the steps. It has been a day since Ada left. I miss him but I know he is going to be fine. I suddenly spot 15 figures strolling cautiously over the bridge and in to the court yard. I now see that there are 13 dwarves, a hobbit and a tall man. Wait, is that, it can't be.

" Mithrandir? Is it really you" I ask as I walk as elegantly as I can down the stairs.

"No, Henig it is I" ( yes, my child) he answers and after that reassurance I run down the rest of the stairs and engulf him in a hug.

" who is she?" A dwarf with wild dark hair with braids in asks. I'm guessing he is the leader. I must remember now to speak westron to them.

" I am Eruaphadriel, daughter of lord Elrond and lady Celebrían of Rivendell, and who might you all be". The dwarf looks at me, he apparently still holds a grudge to us elves, it is plain as daylight, written all over his face. He clearly doesn't want to trust me. So instead Mithrandir speaks

" We were hoping for shelter for a few days and food, if you would be so kind. And to seek advice from your father" I look at him while he is talking to me and to the dwarves who have clearly been without a bath for a month at least. I wonder what he needs advice on, especially with dwarfs with him. One thing I can't get over is why they have a hobbit with them. I look directly at him, he seems uncomfortable under my stare so I go back to looking at Mithrandir.

"Of course you can stay here for a few days. However, my Ada is away at present but he should be back soon" I say the last part half- heartedly because I had no idea when he would be back or if he would be back. I think about this for a few moments but was dragged out of my thoughts by a horn. A elvish horn. Ada was home. Their horses galloped over the bridge and circled all of the company except Mithrandir. The company all go in a defensive circle with the hobbit in the middle. Ada gets off his horse and sees me and Mithrandir. He starts talking to Mithrandir about the task he had went off to do, but my gaze turns to the dwarves who seem to be muttering about us to each other. Ada turns to me after speaking with Mithrandir.

"Na vedui, I see my beautiful Iellig," (at last, daughter) I hug him and he hugs back tightly "would you please get some guest rooms ready" I let go and nod. I make my way up the steps but trip slightly. I recover quickly and hurry up the rest of the stairs hopping no one saw my trip. As I get to the top of the steps I am greeted with a doubled over with laughter Manwathiel. I punch her lightly and carry on walking to the guest quarters to ready the rooms. While Manwathiel runs down the stairs gracefully, like an elf should, to hug her father who has also been a way.
