After it had been about two days, I was finally allowed to go home. I was super excited, but sad at the same time. Soph had to take care of me, and I couldn't take care of her. Sophia seemed excited for me to be coming home, and I was too. I never liked hospitals. I could smell the sickness surround me every day, slowly getting thicker and thicker. It sometimes made me nauseous, but I always kept my stomach under control since I couldn't bolt to the bathroom with all of my burns. Speaking of burns, some of them have gotten worse, but the one degree burns have basically healed. Some of the two and mostly the three degree burns have gotten worse. The doctor had given me a salve, and I have been using it since day one. I am happy that some of them are healing, but I am sad that most of them have gotten worse. Which worries me, I don't know how Sophia is copping, but I do hope that she isn't traumatized by any of this. I let out a sigh as I stare at the roof of my room. I look around and I can see that everything is where I have left it. I then hear a knock on the door, "Come in!" I yell. Sophia then comes in with a plate of food.

"Are you hungry?" She asks me coming closer to me. I open my mouth to answer, but my stomach beats me to answering her. We both laugh, "I guess that it is a yes." She says getting out a mini table. She then sets it up and places my food onto it. She then reaches into her pocket and takes out a bottle of pills and my salve.

"What is the bottle of pills?" I ask taking a bite of my food. She opens the bottle and places one pill next to my glass of water.

"It is a sleeping pill; the doctor said that you need to take it after you eat so you will be able to sleep." She replies looking at me. I nod my head. Suddenly, I can see worry written all over her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask her, getting anxious.

She lets out a sigh, "I am just worried about you. I am... I am afraid that you aren't." She pauses, a tear falls on her face, "I am afraid that you won't heal, or even worse, die."

She then looks down at her feet. I scrunch my eyebrows and frown.

"Hey," I said, she looks up and her eyes are full of water, "You don't need to cry, I will live, the doctor said so. And I will heal." I replied smiling. She smiles but then it turns into a frown. I lift my hand and carefully caress her cheek. She leans into my hand a slightly smiles. I wipe a tear with my thumb and lay my hand back down on the bed. "Come lay next to me Soph." I say slightly patting the space next to me.

"What about your burns? Won't they hurt if I touch them?" She asks.

"They might, but I know you wouldn't purposely hurt me now would you?" I ask smiling.

"I might, you never know." She replies smirking, a glint in her eye. She then slowly and carefully goes underneath the covers and snuggles close to me, only slightly touching me. I grab her hand and squeeze it. "I love you Andrew." She said.

"I love you too sis." I reply closing my eyes, "I don't think I am going to need that pill." I say yawning. She laughs and then she yawns. Yawns are so contagious.

"You made me yawn." She laughs, I smile and close my eyes, going into a deep slumber in my bed next to my sister.
