Now, six months after the wedding, the stepsisters were still not getting along but Lucinda and Lindsay's father were still madly in love with each other. However, her dad's work sent her out to Pennsylvania and he thought that it would be a wonderful bonding experience if Lindsay stayed with her step mom and stepsisters. No matter how much she complained, her father's mind was set she was staying. And Lindsay was certainly not happy about it.
Lindsay was right that it was not a good idea. At least for her it wasn't. Her stepsisters were spoiled by their mom, and Lindsay was not. She was treated like a slave. While her stepsisters were off enjoying themselves, she would be stuck with all the housework. In addition, if the housework was not to their standards, she would have to do the job again and she would earn herself many more jobs.
Lindsay was allowed to go to school. However, she did not haave very many friends. Before she came to the school, her stepsisterrs had told everybody how mean Lindsay was and when she came to school, everyone was too afraid to hang out with her. She still made one friend named Meghan. Meghan had never trusted Maggie and Sinisia and thought everythings that they had said about Lindsay were lies. So she decided to beome friends with her.
