The Monster Within

Chapter 6

Chelsea POV

I was running far, far away from the general and his soldiers I think I lost them back there when I fell on that boy. I decided it's best if I just keep on moving forward and hoping to get some answers from the people in the village. I wonder if word got out that they're on the hunt for me. It's probably best for me if I get to a village quick and buy a coat so they wouldn't notice me.

Once I get to the village I immediately ask one of the markets
"Excuse me, but does anyone sell coats here?" He looked at me like I'm a weirdo well that's not technically wrong who wants a coat in spring. "Sorry ma'am but it's almost summer none of the markets sell coats anymore." I was upset they soon will find me if I'm not covered. I see a women who has a coat on the only coat I see. I immediately grab her and ask her "Can I please have your coat, It's really cold"
"No this is my coat get your own coat" "But there is no other coat" "Oh now isn't that too bad....for you" I think of the General as soon as she starts to walk away I grab her arm hard and pull her until are eyes are meeting. "Wait what are.." I cut her off, I was looking inside her eyes starring right into her soul and I said very strongly "Give me your coat" when I finished that single phrase and while still looking into my eyes she gave me her coat. I knew what was happening, I understand what's going on and I knew there were lot more powers were that came from. Then I said to her "Good, now turn around and walk straight until you reach the next village, once you reach the next village you won't remember a thing" when I let go of her hand she started walking into the woods where darkness, shadows, and monsters lurks in every corner then I couldn't see no more.

I knew I had to leave that village if the General was smart he would be follow my trail I left behind from my footsteps. I started walking out of the village and search for my brother, there was this man nearby he looked suspicious. That's when I mad a run for the woods and then he started running after me. I kept on making lefts and rights when I turned around he was gone. I suddenly felt a hand over my mouth and rope tying on to both of my hands. Then he stabbed me with some kind of injection I started to stop struggling, I felt more and more sleepy. I lost vision I couldn't see his face he started dropping me in the ground everything was blurry I didn't get to see his face but I heard the one thing he said to me before I blackout "I know who you" then suddenly everything was black.
