The Monster Within

Chapter 2

Several Years Later

"Papa don't forget your water you and mama are gonna need it on your journey." "Thank you sweetie now remember-" I cut him off before he can finish "feed the horses, water the flowers, and make sure we have enough food so we don't starve to death, I know papa I know you've told me a million times already." "Well looks like you do remember unlike your brother who keeps on fighting with the boys in the village" papa said very loudly making sure Christian heard it. "Don't worry papa I'll make sure Christian is out of trouble" "Thank you" he replied

Mama and papa were going on their journey to the northern kingdom. Mama and papa gave me a hug and kiss goodbye, my papa gave a hug to my brother they were whispering something probably about a demon living inside me. Me and my brother stayed there watching our parents going off to the northern kingdom. "Hey Christian I'm hungry" "Alright let's see what we have" we go inside to check what we have and found that we didn't have that much "Alright I guess we have to hunt again c'mon lets go"

We were going to the forest when I encountered a monster, I didn't knew how to fight I knew this was the end. Then I felt something push me aside I hit the my head on a rock I hurt like hell but I wasn't unconsciously. I saw my brother in front of the monster, then I thought ...WAIT...he doesn't know how to fight either. Then out of no where there's this girl she came out of the woods, she had a sword she started fighting the monster and ended up killing it.

My brother seems surprised he thought he was going to be the dead hero who protected his sister but instead the girl who I know for a fact is a warrior of the northern kingdom she is know as the flash, she'll hit you with a single slash and your dead she's fast like lightning. She turns around and starts talking to my brother which he's on the ground. "Hey are you ok any injuries?" Christian just kept on staring at her like she's a piece of diamond in the sky. I started waving my hand around my brothers face "Hello, earth to Christian" he finally wakes up from whatever he was thinking about. He gets up "Hi thanks for your help" "no problem I'm Alice and you are" he's still staring I can tell by now he's starting to fall for her I mean I won't blame him she saved his life, she can fight, and she's beautiful that's all it takes for Christian. I nudge him on his back so he can wake up from his dream. "Chr...Christian my name is Christian." Well I'm glad you guys didn't get eaten or anything." "Yeah you know you should probably check my brother for injuries" I winked at him and he started blushing " wow your right many little injuries can become a bigger problem" she started checking everywhere to see if he had any bruises, cuts, bumps or if he started bleeding. "Nope nothing unusual but that was a smart idea um" "Chelsy my name is Chelsy, by the way are you anyone special you have a big sword there" when I was looking at the sword. "Oh, yeah I'm from the northern kingdom I'm known as  flash a warrior from the dragon guild, second in command, right now I'm on a mission." "Well it was nice to meet you Alice" by brother said with a soft voice.
We were walking to the village to get food when I turned around I felt so light headed I was falling to the ground. "Oh my god is she ok, she's bleeding from the back of her head" Alice sounded worried "that's right I pushed her out of the way" my brother then started carrying me on his back "I'll come with you to your home I have medical supplies that might help" they started walking back home eventually they finally arrive on my bed and last thing I knew it o was having a blackout.
