It's all black space-except for the light shining on the stone altar. Laeci knows what's going to happen-she's been here many times before. Against her will, she reaches forward and plucks the envelope laying there off the altar. Lifting open the flap, she is careful not to harm whatever is inside.
Suddenly, horrible things burst out, eager to bring their evilness to the world. Laeci screams as a low chuckle rumbles through the room, making it vibrate.
If only Laeci could wake up now.
But no, it never ends there. The ground disappears, leaving Laeci plummeting to who knows where. The horrible things out of the envelope fly around her, screeching, hissing, and growling. They peck, bite, and scratch her with their beaks, teeth, and claws. When Laeci thinks it can't get any worse, she lands in a big pool of water.
And she's drowning. No matter how hard she tries to just get one breath, she keeps on sinking, lower and lower, until she lands on the grainy, scratchy lake bottom. Vicious and carnivorous crabs scuttle over Laeci, seemingly placing dibs on which part is theirs to feast on.
The king of the crabs always climbs up on her neck and settles on her chin, devilish eyes looking into her soul. He grins wickedly and all goes black.
