A New Plan

We've been down here for so long. I've tried everything and nothing will work! Just please, if there is a god....let him have mercy on our souls. As I walk into my lab for another day trying to escape from this hole in the ground I take a sip of my coffee and look at the data again, "Why won't it work!" I audibly scream knowing the walls are thick enough and far enough away from anyone to actually wonder if something was wrong. "Umm s-sir is there a p-problem?" I hear my secretary's voice echo from the phone next to me, I guess thick walls don't really matter if you have your hand over the intercom button, "No alphys i'm sorry I startled you...just a bit stressed is all" I reassure her, "O-okay Dr. Gaster I-I was just being s-sure". A fine young lady my secretary, very smart, I just don't think she has it in her to be a royal scientist, when I eventually die, considering her intellect, she will be my predecessor. I just wish I could wrap my mind far enough around this to figure out how to get determination to work without a human body controlling it. I just need something organic to control it. As there are no humans down here and Asgore would never let me test on a live one as he would take its soul before I could even ask, there is nothing for me to work with. We know a monster cannot accept determination, we have tried time and time again with different formulas and none of them ended well, but if I could just get determination inside of a monster while it is still growing it could adapt to it, but it would take years waiting for a pregnant monster and what mother would be willing to let her unborn fetus be tested on in a lab. Unless....... Yes! that's it! This has never been done before and I'm not sure it will work but I have to try.....if it will set my friends free I'll do whatever it takes. I grab a sowing needle and jam it in my finger, a little sting but soon after I have a sample of my own blood. "I really hope this works" I say out loud before performing the experiment.
