Experiment

I have everything put together, now all we can do is wait. I used a sample of my blood, skin, and magic with some determination to create a living monster with stable determination levels. It still has to grow and right now it is microscopic. I do not know how long it will take but it could be days, weeks, months, years, decades even because again, this has never been done before. Well I guess that's all I can do for today, I should probably go to sleep in the lab tonight just in case something goes wrong. I was getting a good nights sleep when suddenly I am awoken to some sort of screeching noise. As I fumble around in the darkness for the light switch I notice that the sound is coming from the experiment. I turn the lights on and as I walk over I realize that the subject has grown drastically in just a few short hours of the night. I did not know what to think as I look at the infant crying on the lab table. I quickly fashion a makeshift bed out of some blankets and the child seems to have calmed down. It looks just like me. I mean I knew it would, considering it was my blood, skin, and magic used to create it but I guess it just took me by surprise. I lie back down on the couch and drift into a comfortable sleep with the sound of a baby's coo across the room. I wake up in the morning to see the child is still asleep but has grown a full inch the rest of the night. I guess I really did underestimate what a little determination could do to a monsters growth. I take a shortcut to the store and grab some milk for the child and sure enough apon my arrival it is crying. As I warm up the milk I get the bottle I purchased and as the microwave beeps I pour the warm liquid into the bottle. The baby is eager for the bottle as it almost grabs it out of my hand and begins to suckle on the bottle. Also I did find out it is a boy. I guess I need a name for him don't I? Why not.....hmmmm...Times New Roman, we can call you Times for short.
