AN: This is my first fanfic and I'm so happy I chose to write about Clexa. I used to write non stop a while back and I just decided to start writing again, so please bear with me I'm a little rusty. And if you're reading my AN then congrats you're smart, because now you know that this won't stay a miserable story. Hehe. And if you have never heard of the song that goes with this story then you should totally watch the music video… might give you a better picture. Enjoy! xD

“Lex… Lexa… Alexandra!” Clarke shouts irritatedly.

“Huh?” Responded obliviously. She looks up from her phone to Clarke.

“You didn't hear what I said, did you?”

Lexa stares at her blankly. Clarke shakes her head, “Of course you didn't. You never do these days,” she mumbled as she got up from the couch and started walking towards their front door.

“Wai- hold on. Stop. Just let me explain,” Lexa pleaded as she got up and followed behind Clarke. “Clarke…” She reaches for her hand, “Come on, Clarke. I'm sorry!”

Clarke turns around and frees her hand from Lexa’s grip. “Don't even try, Lexa. Save your breath, because I know having your focus on that… stupid phone was all that was important to you. Apparently the things I say aren't important!” She waves her hands in the air.

“Babe, this isn't fair. Of course the things you say are important, everything you say is important. Yes, I know I've been having my focus glued this my phone, but you gotta understand that I…” Clarke narrowed her eyes at her girlfriend suspiciously, waiting for her to finish her sentence.

“That you what?” Clarke asked impatiently as she crossed her arms.

“Well… It's a long story. It was a few weeks ago when I went to work and that same day a new coworker showed up and wel-” Lexa was interrupted by the sounds of her phone ringing. Lexa gave Clarke an apologetic look and walked back into their living room to grab her ringing phone from the couch.

She looked at the caller ID and read “Octavia” she answers the call irritatedly, “Hello.”

Lexa quickly turned her head around at the sound of the front door as she heard it slammed shut. She let out a disappointed sigh, then she realized that she was still on the phone. “Oh yes, sorry. What was that?”

She started heading to her office, “Um… yeah, I'm free now. Where do you wanna go?”

She quickly pulled a blank sheet of paper and a pen, she started writing down the address, “Okay, got it. And what time should I pick you up?”

She nodded in agreement, “5pm. Alright, sounds good. I'll see you then. Bye.” She hung up.

....

Lexa parked her yellow lamborghini aventador right outside Octavia’s house. She sighed and rested her head on the steering wheel, the sound of the car's horn going off made Lexa jump and grab her chest feeling her heart beating fast.

She unbuckled her seatbelt and rose the car door open, she closed the door then walked towards her front door as she flipped her hat backwards.

Octavia opened her door and became startled as she saw Lexa in front of her, “My God! You nearly killed me,” she rested her hand upon her chest to slow her heart rate down.

Lexa rubbed her neck nervously, “Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you, I was just about to knock on your door,” she explained.

Octavia waved it off, “Hey, no need to explain,” she smiled. Green eyes stared into another pair of green eyes.

“Uh… yeah, so I see that you are ready to go,” Lexa giggled awkwardly as she clasped her hands together. “Okay. Let's get the show on the road!” She turned around and started walking to her car.

She opened the passenger door to let Octavia settle in, “Well thank you. You're such a gentlewoman,” she smiled.

“As always,” she responded as she closed the car door and made her way to the driver side.

Lexa gets in the car and turns to face an excited Octavia, “Are you ready?”

She rested her hand on top of Lexa's, “As Always,” she smiled. Lexa smiled back and put the car on “Drive” then drove off to their destination.

....

Clarke walked through the park trying to escape her stressful feelings. The smell of the outdoors, the sound of the birds singing, the chill breeze of the wind as it kissed her skin; it made her smile. She saw a black bench nearby and walked towards it, as she sat down she automatically relaxed.

She closed her eyes as she bent her head backwards facing the sky. She slowly opened her eyes then knitted her eyebrows together, wondering what it would be like to live in space instead of a stressful, cruel world like this.

“I'm sorry, but is this seat taken? I couldn't help but notice that you weren't looking so satisfied with life,” a woman explained. Clarke rose her head to see who this woman was, she was an Asian woman who seemed to be in her early thirties.

“Oh uh… yeah, yeah you could sit here. It's fine with me,” she gave the woman a small smile as she sat down and shifted her body a little to get a better look at Clarke.

Clarke looked up at the sky again, “Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in space?” Clarke looked at the older woman confusingly as she began to chuckle.

“What's so funny?”

“I've been on this planet for 31 years and everyday it seems like I become more and more fond of it. I was never an indoor person, I always loved waking up early and going outside to see the sunrise and smell the fresh smell of dew… I've always cared for nature. I love it. So no, I've never thought that,” the older woman said.

Clarke smiled then nodded, she stretched out her hand, “I'm Clarke,” she introduced.

The older woman smiled and shook her hand, “Anya.”

“It's a pleasure meeting you, Anya.”

“As to you too, Clarke. So what has gotten you down?”

Clarke sighed, “It's not just one thing anymore… I just… Don't understand.”

Anya rested her hand upon Clarke's shoulder and gave her a friendly smile, “Well take your time. I have no where else to be.”

Clarke nodded, “Okay… So it all started a few weeks ago…”

AN: What do you think? I had to think about who Lexa's side chick would be… I thought about Indra but then I was like “Nah” Then I thought about Anya but I just don't really see that. So I just decided to pick Octavia. Do you think Octavia was the best side chick? Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it! Trust me it gets better… it always does xD
