Somehow Nicole bought everything I told her about making us work and thank god she did, I don't know how I would go back home to my family and telling my little ones back home how their lifestyle would change all because uncle John was an ass hole in my defense this is something I never wanted if they would have married me to the woman of my dreams then I would have no problem being married to her but no they had to help her marry someone else and I got stuck with her best friend and now today here I am picking up flowers to have as a center piece at our dinner table, so it looks pretty for when said woman of my dreams would come over with her husband to have dinner with us where we have to pretend to be the perfect or at least happy couple who love and care for each other. I'm a little annoyed not only at the whole situation my mother put me in but as with Nicole when she told me that one more time that I screw up she would leave me okay I understand that no need to remind me but then she said that if I did end up screwing up that she had nothing to lose which only made me think that she knew about the contract maybe I should ask her and I could convince her to get rid of it once I build her confidence and my trust in her back up, she could get rid of the contract for me and I could be able to divorce her no questions asked.
As I was walking around the flower shop I felt like someone was following me I turned back and saw no one but when I turned back to look in front of me there was Mickie........
Nikki's Pov
"So Nicole what is it that you need today?" Doctor Ashley said walking into the room.
"I'm here to ask about the best form of birth control." I said, I know that my plans are to have kids right away but the way my marriage with John is going, I want to hold off for a while making sure that he doesn't screw up again leaving my pregnant and a baby to raise on my own I can do it I have no problem that's just not the way I plan things so better safe then sorry.
"Wow really? Didn't you just get married?" She said pulling up her clipboard.
"Yeah I did last month." I said nervous as to what she would tell me.
"Most of the girls who get married like you do always come to me and ask me what's the best way to get pregnant but you don't want any kids?" She said looking at me confused.
"I do want kids just not right now you see I'm taking over my dads company next week and I want to put all my focus into that before thinking about kids." I said hoping she wouldn't ask more questions.
"Is John okay with this?" She said putting her clip board aside.
"Yes and even if he wasn't it's my body we're talking about so am I getting my birth control or do I have to go somewhere else?" I said getting annoyed.
"Oh yes you can get it I was just wondering okay have you considered what kind of form you want it in? You have the pill, ring, patch, and shot those are best ones for you." She said showing me all of the forms.
"Well I want an effective one but I don't want the pill because I know I'll forget to take it." I said looking at all of them.
"My suggestion is the shot you can either get the one year or the 6 months you know in case you change your mind in 6 months can start trying to have a baby." She said waiting on me to give her my answer.
"I guess I'll do the shot." I said giving her the little pamphlets back.
"Alright Nicole the nurse will give it to you and you're ready to go." She said getting up I thanked her as she left and dat there waiting for the nurse to come in wondering if I was doing the right thing.
Later That Night At Dinner.....
"So how was Maui?" Barbie asked after giving me a smirk.
"It was beautiful the beach was just wonderful." John said looking at me with a smirk.
"Yeah it was really fun." I said just looking down at my food.
"So Nicole are you excited about next week?" Joe said and I smiled I can't believe he remembered.
"Yeah super excited." I said looking up to see John have a confused look in his face.
"What's next week." Barbie said looking at me.
"I'm going to officially take over my dads company and Joe here is going to work in the company." I said taking a sip out of my wine.
"Oh I knew he was working for you I didn't know you would be running things." She said surprised.
"Yeah I am, I'm the oldest so it's my John and I'm happy I'm the first woman to be passed down the family business and it's such a huge honor I don't want to disappoint anyone." I said started to hold back some tears.
"You will do amazing I'm sure of it." Joe said giving me a small smile.
"So when are you having kids?" Barbie said.
"Umm whenever it happens." I said looking at John who was just looking at Barbie.
"I told you I wanted our kids to grow up together." She said a little sad.
"They will Barbie." I said making sure she knew I wouldn't break my promise.
"Well you guys better start trying harder because my little baby will be here in 7 months!" She said with a huge smile while pulling out an ultrasound picture. "Surprise I'm pregnant......
