"Another drink please." I gargled out as my head pounded against the bar table. Usually, I wouldn't just go to the local bar and get drunk out of my mind but I'm really feeling down in the dumps. Waaayyyyyy down in the dumps. Me, just being fired from my fifth...no sixth job is really tiresome. So what I broke one of the workplace's computer? It's not my fault they have computers from the 80's that should even work anymore in the first place.

I sighed and rolled my head to the side. I looked at all the other people that seemed so happy as they bumped and jumped all around the dance floor. I frowned at them. Why couldn't I be like that? I feel like every day of my life is like a huge tornado. So messy. Oh, so messy.

I hear the clink of the beer glass hit the table as the Bartender gave me a grumpy, "Here you go." Maybe he's having a day as bad as mine. I picked my lazy head up before grabbing the drink and pouring down my throat. I felt the burn radiate through my system and I sighed in contentment as my head slumped down once again. I felt my mind turning into mush and a small giggle left my dry lips. I knew I had to leave this bar before I became too drunk to even stand up. I grunted as I slide myself off the bar stool and through the door. My car sat patiently at the spot I parked it and I went into the driver's seat.

Turning on my car I drove all the way back to my apartment in my piece. I was sure I wasn't sober enough to drive as straight as I did. I was just waiting until I hit a trash can and I hear a terrified cat from within it. Stumbling out of my car, I headed to my apartment door and to my room. My heels were killing me so I kicked them off before flopping on my comfy bed. I sighed and blinked my eyes slowly as my dreamland took over.

"What a fool!"

"She is just a fake!"

"She does not belong!"

"How is he tolerating this?"

"Kick her out! Kick her out!"

Silence.

"Yeah! KICK HER OUT! KICK HER OUT!"

I screamed bloody mary as I woke up with a start. What kind of a dream was that? What did it mean? Why did I have it? All these questions jumbled up into my mind. Meanwhile, a killer headache started to slowly murder my brain. Totally forgetting about my weird dream, I groaned as I slithered out of bed and into the kitchen to drink some water. No more alcohol for me for a while. I scratched my side as I pondered what I was going to do with my life.

Without my job, I wouldn't be able to pay my bills, get food to eat, or get all those new clothes I wanted online. Dang it! I only had one choice and that was to call my mother.

I really didn't want to do that. All my mother does is pester and criticize every little thing I do! But without her help right now, I would be thrown on the streets in about a month or two.

Here goes nothing.

"Why are you calling me? What do you want this time Aurora?" She harshly talks into the phone.

"Hello to you too, mother." I sighed. "I lost another job and-."

"Another one!? What did you do this time? Blow up the building? Was it another dare? Or did you-" She interrupted so interrupted her back.

"No, no, and don't even talk about that one time," I warn her. "I don't know why I can't keep jobs but I really need some help right now. Can I stay at your place for a while, or maybe you can just send me some money to survive so I can get another job." I really hoped she picked the second option because I know living with her wold be a nightmare. She didn't answer for a moment, probably thinking about what I said.
