Part 7

The next morning, it was Saturday and Marinette and Adrian stayed in their rooms all morning thinking about what happened yesterday "T-Tikki i actually kissed his cheek"she covers her red face in her pillow "he must hate me right now..." Meanwhile "Plagg when she kissed me i-i felt something new, but familiar at the same time, almost what i feel for Ladybug..." Their kwamis try to comfort them, Alya and Nino also heard about yesterday so they planned on getting them both to watch a movie together in the afternoon "Okay Nino, i am at Marinette's house right now" says alya while video calling Nino "i'm almost at Adrian's house as well".
While Marinette was still thinking about last night she heard the doorbell"coming" she shouted while going down the stairs, when she opens the door she sees a familiar and friendly face "Alya what brings you here?"asks Marinette, Alya grabs her hand "come on, i have tickets for a movie that's starting right now, we don't have time" she said while dragging Marinette to the cinema. And on Nino's case "come on dude, the movie is about to start" he said also dragging Adrian to the cinema.
Marinette and Alya were the first ones to get there "Go ahead, i... Uh need to go to the bathroom" she said while giving Marinette the popcorns, Nino and Adrian just arrived "Here you go dude, i... Uh need to go to the bathroom" Adrian nods "okay but be back soon, you don't want to miss the movie"
Alya and Nino both meet, coincidentally the cinema was empty and Adrian's seat was right next to Marinette's when he sat he didn't realize that Marinette was next to him nor did Marinette realize that sitting next to her was her prince in shining armor. The movie starts and after a few minutes Adrian accidentally puts his hand on Marinette's hand while trying to comfort himself "oh, I'm sorry" hearing that voice Marinette knew it was Adrian "A-Adrian?" he looks back "Marinette?" they both blush in the dark, and Marinette like always, starts to panic "I-I'm so sorry for what happened yesterday, i-i don't know what got into me by doing that..." Adrian calms her down by putting his hand on her shoulder "it's okay, don't worry about it" Adrian couldn't believe that Marinette was still in thought about last night, she blushes bright red after hearing that "w-what?" "Look i didn't get a chance to tell you yesterday, but..." He starts blushing hard "it was actually amazing" she was speechless, knowing her crush liked the kiss she gave him
The movie ends and it looked like time just flew by, they both exit their seats side by side, Marinette kept looking at his hand, hesitating but she gathers all her courage and holds it, Adrian felt her soft warm hand and looked at her eyes, that were strangely familiar, but couldn't help but smile at her, when she saw his smile she smiled back. When they both exit the cinema they took a long walk trough Paris which was illuminating the night with its lights completely forgetting about the friends that got them to the movies, Adrian told Marinette stories about his mom, while Marinette told Adrian stories of her childhood and dreams, by the time they noticed they were both at Marinette's house door "thank you Adrian, i had so much fun tonight" Adrian looks at her sapphire eyes "Me too" she blushes "i couldn't imagine this night being any better" Adrian smiles "i can..." While he holds her cheeks and gets closer to her, their lips touch for the first time, as they melted into the kiss what looked like eternity when they separated, Adrian waved her goodbye and she did the same, but not taking off the image of their first kiss together.

I wanted to add that element of surprise in this chapter :3, you know since i made a big fuss over a kiss on the cheek. Thought it would be better to take it to the next level i guess. thank you so much for your support
