That same night they couldn't fall asleep, they were so excited about their first kiss that they couldn't stop talking about it to their kwamis. "Tikki, HE KISSED ME HE KISSED ME! He MUST like me... The way i like him" Tikki smiles at her and says "Congratulations Marinette I Knew you guys would work out, It was really obvious after all" Tikki said after releasing a little giggle.
And for Adrian, it was no exception "Plagg i kissed her... It was like i couldn't control myself" plagg sits next to him in his bed "well at least you will stop complaining about Ladybug all the time". A few hours later it appeared in the news that there was a mystic creature terrorizing Paris, they transformed and met at the Eiffel tower, by that time they remembered the night they went out and how it took a horrible turn for chat, "Chat.. I hope you are not mad about our last meeting a-" he then puts his finger between her lips "sshh, its okay my lady this cat can handle a little heart break, you just worry about the akumatized person" she nods "let's go then chatton!"
They both go to an area where strangely it was inhabited, much like an abandoned neighborhood. What happened to those people who once lived here is a complete mystery for them, just then chat says "Oh man, this town gives me the creeps" Ladybug replies while looking around " I don't get it, there was supposed to be people living in this neighborhood, but it looks like it is abandoned for years now" Chat kicks a door to the entrance of an old falling building "We'll report this to the mayor once we stop the akumatized person..." Ladybug nods "Just be careful, these buildings look like they could fall at any moment now..." Chat opens the door, and turns around "Worry not Ladybug, this cat here knows how to take care of himself"as he finishes his sentence, the upper floor collapses, by Instinct Ladybug throws her yo-yo to chat's leg and pulls him, avoiding being squashed under the building. As he stops by her feet, he looks up "You were saying?" Asks Ladybug, "A miscalculation, i'm afraid. Thanks my Lad-... I mean Ladybug" he says it as he gets up. "We should head to the rooftops, maybe there we can get a clear view of the town" chat nods as he climbs the building, while Ladybug gets up using her yo-yo. When they get up there they are nearly speechless with the results "This can't be true..." says Ladybug while looking at half the city completely ruined. "What could have caused this?" Chat asks still looking shocked, Ladybug sees weird blood marks on the rooftop "Whatever caused this, it is very dangerous " she says while pointing to more marks on the rooftop, without a word they both follow the trail, leading to some sort of fortress, where it looks like being the highest point of the town, it was built over rumbles of destroyed building that acted like a mountain and a firm support for the fortress "I bet whatever did this is in that fortress " she says taking a step further before chat stopping her by grabbing onto her arm "Hold on, we have no idea what could be in there, I think it's best if We do a reckon mission from far to see the level of threat in that fortress" before she could agree, it got darker the sky was completely covered with clouds which then separate showing just the full moon. When the moon came out, they see a shadow being projected by it, and as they turn around, they see something that shocked them both...
