Chat Turns around and readies his staff asking the person behind "WHO ARE YOU?" The mysterious man glares at him saying "My my, Young ones these days, so very rude and impatient... It irritates me" chat goes in front of Marinette to protect her "You still haven't answered my question!" The mysterious man raises his hand alongside with his voice "SILENCE! If you want to know me that badly fine... I Am Shadowmaster and I'm here by Hawkmoth's orders to take your miraculous!" Chat steadies his battle fase, Shadowmaster then continues his speech "Tell me Something, do cats like fireworks?... Because if you don't you're in for an unpleasant surprise..." Chat Then looks down to see the shadow of a bomb ready to explode, chat then shouts to Shadowmaster "STOP! Don't do it! I'll surrender" he then let's out a smirk "poor kitty cat, where's the fun in you surrendering now? I just hope both of you can land on your feet" The bomb then explodes, chat then carries Marinette and leaps out of the balcony he readies for a gentle landing, but is intercepted by a shadow swordsman, the swordsman tried to cut him before he lands, chat evades with his staff but the sword opens a wound near chat's left eye, the blood covered his eye quick which then resulted in a failed landing, Marinette gets launched from his arms and hits a wall behind him with her head, he rushes back to her and tries to wake her up "Marinette?" He says without an answer "please open your eyes..." tears start falling from his right eye "Please... Open your eyes, I-I can't lose you" as he was desperate for her to wake up blood falls to her cheek, chat then lies her on the ground and says "Don't worry... I'll make sure to make him pay for what he did" chat takes out his staff and targets the swordsman who is ready for a second round. Chat closes the distance between them and starts sending consecutive attacks, the swordsman blocks everything and creates an opening, with that opening he then punches chat in his left eye and steadies his sword once more. Chat falls to the ground and holds his eye trying to alleviate the pain, the swordsman takes the opportunity for a finishing blow but chat blocks it with the staff, he uses his remaining strength to send the swordsman's sword flying, without any remaining strength for a second blow chat falls to one knee, the swordsman kicks him off and then makes a retreat for his sword, chat extends his staff and drags his body trough the ground and reaches the sword before him, chat then grabs hold of the sword and point's it to the shadow "Now, It's my turn to cut you to pieces" chat then swings to the shadow yet he evades his attack and kicks the sword out of chat's hand he then grabs chat's neck and lifts him from the ground and starts to slowly choke chat, his vision fading he grabs his staff and extends to the shadow's face causing him to release, chat lies on the ground coughing while the swordsman makes an approach once again but is forced to stop by the Shadowmaster "Enough my puppet! I have to admit for a cat you have some great skills, You've amused me enough and as a reward I'll let you go this time... But maybe Next time I won't feel so generous..." He then finishes his sentence and disappears in the night, chat makes his way to Marinette and sits right beside her "Don't worry princess... I'm here for you..."
