Monday I do my morning routine and head out to walk across the campus to get to Philosophy. Hayle had a friend she went to go meet up for coffee before class started so I had a chance to walk alone.

I look around at the scene before me and notice how the trees are rapidly starting to loose their leaves. The leaves that have fallen are scattered all over the ground. They slightly crunch under the students feet as they hustled to and from class.

The cold was really starting to pick up and the warmth from summer seemed long gone. I put my hood on my jacket up to help block the bite of the cold from getting to my ears.

I finally make it to the building which had the heat turned to a comfortable warm temperature. I go to my seat in the classroom and take my notebook out ready for class to start.

I start to doodle along the margins of my notebook while I listen to people quietly file in the room talking so low it just creates a hum.

I take no notice of who files into room until someone sits next to me. That cause me to left my head up.

Niall.

He makes quick eye contact with me then takes his seat. He doesn't even bother to say hi. I just look back down at my book and continue my doodles. The class starts and I can feel a little bit of tension between me and Niall. I didn't pay much attention to what was going on in the class. Niall didn't say anything he just sits in his chair leaning back almost like he was lounging. I kept sneaking side glances at him. He was wearing a black sweater with dark blue jeans and to my surprise black converse instead of bright white Supras. He looked really good in all black. The color made his eyes stand out even more. Today they were a cold icy blue. I knew he had to have had caught me looking at him because a couple times I would see him looking at me but I would just play it off as though I was looking around for the time.

Once class is dismissed I begin to put my stuff away but then feel someone leaning into me and whisper in my ear.

"Take a picture hun, it will last longer." A thick irish accent whispered in my ear. His warm minty breath tickled my ear. His words made me stiff for a second until I broke from the trance I was in and grabbed my bag quickly to leave. As I turn around I look at Niall and see a cocky grin plastered to his face showing off some of his perfect white teeth.

I really wasn't in the mood to deal with his cocky attitude. I could tell something about him changed. He is definitely not the same boy I met last week. Even if he is, he wasn't showing it. This somewhat new Niall that stood before me I didn't like. I don't like arrogance. Even if the guy is extremely hot and doesn't seem to have a flaw on him, I just didn't like to deal with it.

I scoff and roll my eyes then slightly push past Niall to get out the door until a firm hand grabbed my arm and spun me around.

"Hey now I'm just joking." He chuckles a little. "Chill out will ya?"

"I didn't find it amusing." I say in a flat tone.

"Well I'm sorry." He juts out his bottom lip into a pout. "Forgive me?"

I sigh heavily then pull my arm from his grip.

"Niall, what the hell is wrong with you?"

He doesn't answer but just cocks his head to the side and raises an eyebrow. I take that as my cue to continue.

"You disappear for like 6 days then come back acting different."

"I know I'm sorry I had some stuff I had to do."

"Stuff like what?" I snap a little.

"Stuff like none of your damn business." He snaps back harder in a cold tone. I notice his body tenses up and his eyes get a little darker then they were before. His appearance looks a little intimidating as I look at him. I back away and turn mumbling a quick "Sorry" and head out the room. As I'm walking towards the building exit Niall shouts my name while jogging up to me.
