"Happy Birthday!" I remember you saying that to me, we were happy together, I love you, you loved me. My soul sings out that you are the one, every fiber of my being, I dedicated to making you happy.
From birthdays to thanksgiving, we celebrate it together because being with you completes me. We were like twins: inseparable, until we were not.
You left me alone, just like an unused toy, broken, forgotten and lonely.
"Thank you for the memories," you said.
What memories are left? when amnesia took you away from me.
Now, I might not be the one making you happy, I sincerely, genuinely, wholeheartedly pray with every fiber of my being for your happiness. And knowing that you are happy, my soul sings in earnest chorus.
At the end of the day, I treasure the memories we have, even though I'm the only one who remembered them anyway.
