Chapter 1: Aliens In Space

"Copy that we're in space!" I blared through my headset as asteroids came flying in, through the distance.

Space what a beautiful place... "Nows the time to explore my ship." I thought to myself, as I unbuckled the seatbelt from under me. "Woah!" I started floating up and up quickly grasping onto my chair for balance. As I steadied myself I looked over at the invisi-screens the mission already undergo.

My missions are written down and glaring at my eyes- (understand missions is plural), get to Mars safely (maybe), find "alien" inhabitants (you've got to be kidding me), and survive outer space (no vote of confidence, eh).

A couple months ago NASA got a message to Earth from Mars. Back then we thought it was child play, but once we looked it over closely we released it was no joke. After that, I signed up (sadly last), nevertheless they chose me first out of 3 billion people! So here we are now.

"You know what, I can just exercise in here for hours and get fit very easily!" I exclaimed to myself proudly doing backflips in the air.

Knows the time to look around this rocket. Bathroom and showering supplies in the corner. Bed laced with ropes on the wall. Bottled water duct-taped on the desk, food packets floating everywhere, and finally clothes all stuffed/jammed into a box. "Perfect, now I'll be at Mars soon and start mission #1."

Five hours later.....

"Sky we're all set! Calculating Mars orbit! Don't forget to put on your E-force suit* so you don't end up like a pancake! Good luck!" commander hollered through the speakers.

"Copy that!" the red planet coming closer and closer by the minute. If this doesn't work i'll be dead; and it'll take another 3 years to do the exact same thing.

"Please keep me alive!" I prayed while i pulled on my E-Force suit.* Helmet on my head, I turned on the oxygen tank and let myself breath. The ship descending at crazy speeds. I couldn't stay in my seat as my body flung out to the back wall. "Oh, Oh."

BEEP! BEEP! "Opening door." the computer said.

"Should have put on that seatbelt." I mumble. I can't do anything now. i didn't even land yet, the ship still flying through the crimson dust. A fire exploded in the back, and the unbearable heat leaked through me. Soon, I flung out, my grasp not tight enough. The only thing (and last thing I saw) was red and white colors as I gently let my body take over into shut-down-mode and light as a feather, my eyelids closed into a restless sleep...

*E-Force Suit: Keeps you from being pulled to the center of the Earth. A suit used with astronauts when dealing with planets with different gravity measures.
