#8# Past

Sid's POV

I reached home quite pumped up.
What an awesome day it was... I would finally be included in the football team..
I switched on the television and surfed through the channels.
I wasn't actually interested but then, I have nothing interesting to do.
I fiddled with my jacket and started day dreaming as usual...
Then suddenly...

Ding dong..
Ding dong..
Uhh... I must have fallen asleep..
I switched off the television..and went to the door.
I peeped through the eyehole, Louis was standing there with a cheeky grin on his face.
He was dressed up in a black suit and a blazer.
I opened the door.
"Hey Sid" Louis said running his hand through his hair.
"Hey"
"Umm.. Sid are you..busy right now?"
"Well, Nah.. Why do you ask? You seem to be going somewhere.."
"Yeah.. I have something important to do"
"Ohh"
"May I come in then?"
"Yeah sure"
Millions of questions were bombarding my mind.
He walked in and made himself comfortable in the sofa.
"Huh!?"
" I want to tell you something Sid"
He motioned me to sit beside him.
I walked towards him taking baby steps and sat beside him.
He seemed to be trying my patience and was quite for a very long time.
He suddenly got up and leaned closer.
I didn't say anything.
Suddenly the entire surrounding shifted.
I was back in my old school.
I pushed Louis away intending to tell him something harsh but then, it wasn't Louis it was Farhan.
I was mesmerised by the cheeky smile, his sparkling eyes, the long eyelashes, the small scar down his lips.
I was completely lost in him.
He held my waist and pulled me closer.
The phone was ringing but I ignored it.
Then reality hit me hard.
All those memories, which I had been trying hard to forget, came back like a flood.
I tried to push him away but he held me tight.
I felt like crying..
Where was he all these years.. And now when I have found him, why was he acting like I am no one.
Did he forget all those memories..
I kicked him hard.
He left me and soon I found myself lying on the ground...

I got up to find myself beside the sofa.. I was literally panting..
Ohh..it must have been a dream..
I then noticed the phone ringing.
I picked it up.
It was the person I needed most now..
"Hellloooo" greeted the cheerful voice of Tanya.
"Hey" I answered in a quite voice.
"What happened Shruti ..? Is everything alright..? Is it Louis again..?"
I didn't say anything.
"Speak. Tell me or I am gonna kill you.."
"It's nothing"
"Ohh yeah and the sun rises in the west, tell the truth.."
"I just had a nightmare.."
I then told her about the dream I just saw.
After I ended..there was a long pause.
"Are you alright now?"
"Yeah.."
"Well..tell me about Harry.."
This is what cheers me up in most of the days, but not today.
"What about him?" I asked grumpily.
"So tell me grumpy old girl what's the reason behind your grumpiness"
"I am confused"
"What happened"
"A lot..." And then I narrated all the events to her which happened since last night.
"Whattt!!! So much happened and you didn't even say anything to me!!! You ditched me"
"Whatever"
"Don't roll your eyes madam"
"I didn't"
"Yeah..of course"
"So.. What should I do?"
"Huh!?"
"About the deal.."
"Accept it of course.."
"Okay, are you sure?"
"Yeah.. I think he means well.. By the way tell me about the Niall kid.. Is he cute?"
"A lot.."
"Lucky girl..being your crushes best friend's partner"
"Well I don't feel so lucky "
"Whatever.. I have an awesome surprise for you"
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise you dumbo, alright bye for now.."
"Byeeee..."
"Byeee.."
And the call ended.
Tanya is so awesome.
She always lifts up my mood no matter what..
I miss her so much..
I switched off the television in reality this time.. And went to my room.
I took out my scrap book..
It contains all those good good memories.
I miss India so much...
