- Jayy POV -

I felt my cheeks get warm and I focused my gaze away from Dahvie, still holding him close to me. There was silence. Then a girly swoon.

"Eeeeee! That was so cuuuuteee!" Mia's voice chimed, longingly and joyously. We both stared at her quietly, seemingly having forgotten she was in the room.

I frowned a bit and pressed my cheek to Dahvie's and tangled my fingers in his hair, pulling his body to mine as I looked at Mia. Dahvie's hands came up to grip the front of my shirt and he remained dead silent. "See you later Mia," I said with a tone suggesting she leave, "It was nice to see you."

Her blue eyes widened slightly as she took a second to get what I was implying, then she nodded quickly. Mia's teased black hair waved around as she did so. "S-see you guys later! We need to discuss shirt designs soon anyways... Bye!" She scampered from the kitchen, her knee-high leather boots clicking all the way to the front door. It slammed behind her and I frowned.

"She can't close a fucking door without slamming it. It's like Mia tries to let people know when she enters and leaves a room," Dahvie mumbled, resting his head on my shoulder. I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah..." We went quiet again after that. Dahvie leaned back to look at me, his full lips so inviting.

My eyes looked about his face as he spoke, "What was that about?" He was quiet, almost apprehensive.

I blushed again and we made eye contact. I bit my lip and shrugged slightly, "I don't know... I've been thinking about what you said non-stop, and I just... I just wanted to do that I guess."

His eyebrows came together and he frowned slightly, "How so?"

I shrugged again and dropped my arms, leaning against the counter. Dahvie sighed and picked up an Oreo, holding it in the milk. His face seemed blank but I could see he was confused and thinking. "It's not like we haven't kissed before, Dahvie.. I'm not sure what to think about all this and I'm comfortable with the way we are, just... Give me time.."

He nodded and pulled out the Oreo, biting half of it off in the first go. I smiled a bit and took the other half with my teeth, my eyes on his. He blinked and bit off most of it and ate the cookie, leaving me with a tiny nub of it.

"You're no fun." I stuck my tongue out. He licked my cheek and poked my stomach.

"And you're just a weirdo." Dahvie smiled innocently at me and put his hands on my shoulders. I sat my hands on his sides. "Blah. Not my love handles, Jayy! I have so much fat there..."

I shook my head and touched the end of my nose to his, "No you don't... You have a cute figure.." I wrapped my arms around his waist as I said this, clasping my hands behind his back. He pouted despite the blush on his cheeks, moving his arms to be around my neck. Smiling, I kissed him again.

- Dahvie POV -

My heart was racing as Jayy spoke, his words comforting me despite the embarrassment. The next thing I knew, we were locked in another kiss. My hands found their way to his cheeks, fingers tangling in his hair as we kissed. I tilted my head slightly and he took advantage of the opening, his soft lips moving gently over mine. I broke the kiss once I felt my breath running out, leaning away from the angelic boy reluctantly. "You have to stop with that... I- it gives me mixed feelings.."

"Just enjoy it while you can... I still have to decide if I want to go beyond skinny love. Even if I don't, we can still kiss. But you should enjoy it while it doesn't hurt," Jayy spoke in a hushed voice, his eyes mostly closed. I nodded and became quiet again.

After a while of holding eachother tightly, I suggested we do something. "How about some video games?"

I asked, plunking another Oreo into my glass of milk.

Jayy leaned over my shoulder and snatched my cookie with his teeth as I was lifting it to my mouth. He mumbled a "sure" while chewing and I bopped his nose.

"We'll play an old game tonight," I decided. "Mario kart on the wii."

"That's old?" Jayy let out a loud laugh, "I must be prehistoric then."

Snickering, I went to the closet where we kept shelves upon shelves of video games we had. They weren't played a whole lot, but it was a good thing to know we had that option. I found Mario Kart and pulled it out, going through the process of turning it on. Jayy appeared on the couch holding a bag of chips, crunching away as I started it up.

(Nearing the end of ages of playing)

I groaned loudly and rolled onto Jayy, "Stop being so fucking good!"

Jayy snickered and pretended to be pushed over by me, laying on his back, "Who, me? I'm not good! Don't be silly.~"

I thwacked his cheek with the wii controller lightly and stuck my tongue out, sitting on him as I ate the salty chips. "Laaaameeeee. I'll get good enough to beat you some day!"

"You can beat me in lots of other games, Mario Kart has just been my specialty considering how much I played it that one time I was really sick," Jayy said causally, stealing a few chips. He propped his legs up on the arm rest of the couch.

"True. Okay fine, I still wanna beat you." I retorted this easily then looked at the time on my phone. The analog read 1:19 a.m. A yawn crept into me and I allowed it to escape. "It's late, Jayy.. I'm going to bed, man."

He nodded an yawned as well. We stood and shut off the TV, heading upstairs. I went to my room and got ready for bed, brushing my teeth and hair as well as removing my makeup.

Jayy appeared in the bathroom doorway, shirtless and with loose pajama pants hanging low around his hips. "Sleep in my room with me tonight Dahv, like you used to.."

"Alright," I smiled and ducked past him into his room, curling up in the big bed. Jayy layed down next to me, falling asleep without much more communication. I layed awake for a while, studying his perfectly defined face. Those dark eyelashes, sharp cheek bones, olive skin tone... He was so perfect... Those were my thoughts as I drifted off.
