"Bye Maman! Bye Papa!" The spirited bluenette shouted to her parents before leaving the bakery.
Tomorrow is New Year's and Mari wanted to go out for party supplies. Every year she and her family stand on the balcony and count down the clock. Her first stop is Party City.
Walking along the sidewalks, Marinette doesn't notice when a car swerves off the road. Luckily, a black cat is there to save her. Chat grabs her out of the way and pole vaults onto a roof. "Whoa there purrincess! Be careful."
She comes out of shock and looks into her saviors eyes. "Chat? Th-thank y-you."
He smirks and kisses her hand. "Anytime Marinette. You okay?"
"I'm...fine." She sits down on the roof with her head in her hands. "I could've-"
"But you didn't." He cut her off. "That's all that matters. You want a ride home princess?"
Standing again, she shakes her head and goes for a fire escape. "I have to go shopping kitty. I owe you though. Thanks again."
"Then let me help you shop! I could carry you around to all the places you need to go." He shouted.
She sighed and nodded. "I suppose, but-"
"Great! Let's go!"
And with that she was whisked away by her knight in shiny black leather. "Do you even know where we're going?" She pouted and crossed her arms.
He stopped on a rooftop and scratched the back of his head with a blush creeping onto his face. "Uh. No. Where to princess?"
"Party City!"

Thanks to Chats built in GPS, the pair made it to the store in just a few minutes. Gawking fangirls greeted them at the entrance and broke into a chant.
"MariChat! MariChat! MariChat!"
Marinette was confused and embarrassed by all of the attention and just shrugged it off as she walked in the store. Chat on the other hand was blushing madly and followed behind his princess.
After about an hour of walking around and gathering party supplies, it was time to check out. They made their way to the register where the cashier rings them up. "Thank you for shopping at Party City! Come back soon!"
"So where to next my beautiful love~?" Chat asked while wiggling his brows.
Marinette raised an eyebrow at him and shook her head. "First of all, I'm not your love~. Second of all, we are going back to my house to drop this stuff of. And then we will be going to eat lunch. I'll tell you the rest later."
She explained to him.
He scooped her up once again in his arms. "Okay princess. But you'll fall for me one day. Promise."
She rolled her eyes at him. "Let's just get home first kitty."
"I didn't here a no!"
"Wait. NO!"
Her yelled was lost to the wind as Chat Noir raced across the city to the bakery/home.
