Chat POV
Ladybug shouted something and then the world went white. I woke up to pink bed sheets and massive headache. "Where am I? Ow, my head." I sat up and looked around the room. Pink everything. I know where I am. "But how did I get he-"
"Ladybug dropped you off."
Sitting in her computer chair was Marinette, looking off into space. "What happened?" I asked.
She sighed and closed her eyes. "After she defeated the akuma, Ladybug dropped you off here to rest. She said she trusts me. That was all about an hour ago though. I think...its around 9:00." Tears streamed down here face.
I hopped off the bed and lifted Marinette up, scooting under her so that she was sitting on my lap and I now sat on the chair. "What's wrong purrincess?"
She latched on to my stomach and tears rained down on my suit. "I'm g-going b-blind."
My heart dropped. So much had happened in a day. I spent more time with my princess, I started falling furr her, and now she was going to lose her sight.
I sat paralyzed beneath her. "How di-" my voice cracked so I cleared my throat. "H-how did it happen? I was only gone for...I should have protected you!" Anger began to rise up inside of me.
"It's okay Chat. And no one hurt me. It just happened. I haven't even told my parents yet." She sighed. "At least they should have a Happy New Years."
"How much are you able to see at the moment?"
"I still have most of my sight. I just can't see what's far away from me. Like the Eiffel Tower."
We stayed in silence for a while till I picked her up bridal style and rushed out onto the balcony. She squeaked and buried her face in my chest. "If all of that is true, then I want to make the rest of your time memorable. Starting with the best New Years ever!"
"I'm not dieing kitty. I'll be fine."
"Fine? Fine? You are most definitely not fine!" I shouted a little louder than I should have. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to-"
Before I could end my sentence, her lips placed themselves onto mine. Warm was surrounded me and I felt faint. Her kisses were toxic. Not the bad kind of toxic, but the toxic as in addicting. Her kisses made you melt and come back begging for more. They are like kryptonite. And I just so happen to be superman.
I broke away to ask her question. "Will you spend New Years with me purrincess?" (Only Bae will get that 'Will' pun. 😉)
"I'd love to, Chat."
