A part of me I've never seen
You took my soul and wiped it clean
Our love was made for movie screens"

Chapter 4: Closer

*3rd Person POV (Liam)*

The walk home from the park was quite eventful. Liam and Zayn kept learning little bits and pieces of each other and it was a good experience for them.

Zayn became a little more comfortable with Zayn because of what he told Liam, that he was gay. Zayn had never told any of his friends back home because people were very homophobic and Zayn didn't know who to trust with his words.

By the time both of the boys got back, the dishes were done and everyone was sitting on the couch in Liam's home. Karen and Zayn's parents, Yaser and Trisha, were waiting patiently on the couch.

"It's about time you two got back, why did you leave anyways?" Karen says confused to both of the boys. Zayn looked at Liam and smiled.

"I was giving Zayn a little tour of the block I guess." Liam says scratching his neck lying. Yaser and Trisha both smile and nod. Liam didn't want his mum to find out that Zayn was gay, Karen didn't approve of 'gays' which was wrong. Karen had been raised to believe that gays were an abomination to the world, and Liam hated her for that. Liam was also afraid that she might consider him gay and kick him out, but Liam was straight, wasn't he?

Yaser and Trisha both stand up in sync and thank Karen for the wonderful lunch/dinner. Before they could get out the door, Zayn handed Liam his cellphone telling him to put his phone number in, and so he did.

Liam had went back to his room not wanting to associate with his mother, and waited for the text from Zayn. It hadn't came yet, so he just pondered.

Liam had just met Zayn and it already felt like the start of an amazing friendship. At the park, Liam had told Zayn literally everything and felt okay with it. His mind wasn't going in circles about Madison when Zayn was around.

Within just a day, Zayn knew what Liam loved and hated, what he enjoyed doing and what he didn't. It was the little things that Liam said to Zayn that made him like Liam even more each time they saw each other. Zayn knew that Liam was a 'ladies man' and had every girl wrapped around his finger, but as long as they were smiling and laughing together, Zayn was okay with it. Hopefully.

*ding, ding*

Liam's phone rang while Liam was in mid thought and he was startled, but he knew it was Zayn because nobody really texted him anymore. Once Liam saw the phone number, he put it in as 'Zee 😄' Liam hated it when his contacts didn't have emojis, he felt like his contact list was 'naked' without emojis. On the other hand, Zayn put Liam's contact as 'Li 💕'
