Josh faced forward again, picking up speed. His ears perked up as he heard the sound of hurried footsteps coming toward him. He tasted the air, but unfortunately, the scent wasn't one he recognized. When Josh picked up the reek of blood, he nearly tripped over his own feet in his haste to stop. He stood up, fur bristling in fear. Another fox came running down the hall towards him, paws outstretched. Josh screeched, spinning around and running back the way he came.

"ARR! YE BE HITTIN' MANGLE, ARE YE?!" The fox shouted. Josh pushed himself to run faster. Mangle must be the other fox...speaking of...where was it? Too late, he was hoisted into the air again by Mangle. The static was louder now as Josh looked Mangle in the eyes. Or...eye. He shuddered in fear, hoping this was all a nightmare. "Mangle, he be hittin' ye?" The fox asked, glaring up at Josh. Mangle nodded, tossing Josh down to the fox. NO! I WON'T BE HELD CAPTIVE BY THESE EVIL ANIMATRONICS! Josh kicked his hind legs out just as the fox reached for him, hitting it square in the chest and sending him flying. This gave the neko a boost, but unfortunately he landed in a new set of arms. These were brown and sort of cold to the touch. Josh squirmed, looking up at his new captor. Toy Freddy. Josh snarled, thrashing furiously. But the bear held tight, and carried him down the hallway. Josh screeched and fought against his captor, but he was powerless.

"LET ME GO!" He screamed, but a paw covered his mouth. Josh was carried down the hallway, followed by Mangle and the red pirate fox.

"Our master has been waiting for you." That's when he noticed their eyes. All black and empty, with glowing white pupils. Didn't he see something similar in a dream he had..? He let them continue carrying him until they got to a box. A tune was playing from a tiny musicbox. Suddenly it changed, playing a sped up version of Pop Goes The Weasel. Toy Freddy dropped Josh with a thud, and he scooted back as something popped out of the box.

POV Change: Josh

"Hello, Joshinette..." I flinched at the familiar name. Definitely from my nightmare. I covered my face with my hands, too scared to look. "Don't be rude, look at me, puppet." A hand roughly lifted my head and removed my hands. My eyelids were forced open by some strange force. There standing in front of me, was a puppet. It grinned, looking at the red for a moment. "Foxy, what time is it?" Foxy scratched the back of his head with his hook.

"Arr, it be 1:05 A.M. matey." The fox said with a pirate voice. I groaned. Time was going by so slowly. Better find out what's going to happen...

"What's the deal?" I snapped, standing up. I wasn't even as tall as the puppet.

"Forgive me, i haven't properly introduced myself. I am Marionette. And you, are Joshinette." The puppet reached a hand behind me, tracing over the curve of my folded wings. I tried moving, but my body wouldn't move.

"I-i can't move!" I whined, my eyes darting from the Marionette to the other animatronics, and back again. Marionette smirked.

"You'll soon be mine, Joshinette...i'll remove those pretty wings...and those tail and ears..they have to go.." With a chuckle, the Marionette stepped back, getting into the box again. "Give him hell, my children." With a loud laugh, the lid went over the box and the Marionette disappeared. All the animatronics shook themselves and blinked. Foxy looked at me, grinning.

"Ahoy there matey! My name's Foxy-" I punched him in the chest, sending him sprawling. Then i screamed and ran back up the hall.

"Wait! We just wanna talk!" I heard a voice shout behind me. I ran faster.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I sprinted for the office as fast as i could. I heard static above me, barely having enough time to look up before Mangle dropped down on me.

"I'm Mangle! It's nice to meet you! What's your name?" I shoved Mangle off and ran off again on all fours. The gang of animatronics continued to chase me. I skidded to a halt, turning around a corner and running into a party room. I hid in a corner, when someone grabbed me and threw me underneath a table. I tried to scream, but something furry covered my mouth.

"Shh.. they'll hear you." I heard a female's voice say. My ears perked, hearing the animatronics headed for the office.

"Where'd that lass go?"

"I don't know. I only wanted to say hi!"

"I didn't even get to say anything to the fella..." The furry thing was removed from my face. I slowly turned to look at my new captor. It looked like..a better version of Mangle..with a yellow tail that had a white tail tip sticking out the back. But it was an animatronic, and smelled like blood. I tried hard not to flinch.

"W-who are you?" I whispered. The animatronic grinned.

"I'm Renamon! I'm guessing you're the new nightguard around here?" I tucked my tail closer to me.

"Uh..yea...are-er-d-do you...live here or...." I kept tripping over my words. I was so scared i was going to be killed.

"Well not exactly. I just visit every so often." I nodded shakily. Then i realized something. Isn't Renamon a Digimon...?

"Ah..aren't you...y'know..a Digimon?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me. She nodded.

"Yep! I was, until i got stuffed..." Her ears lowered, and she looked sad for a moment. I raised a hand to pet her. I don't know why, but i felt like i should..Her sudden change in emotion startled me so much i hit my head on the table. "But it's fine! I like my life better this way!" I sighed in relief, rubbing my head and trying to ignore the pain.

"So are they gone?" I sniffed the air. I couldn't pick up their scent, so i got out from under the table. Renamon followed, peeking out into the hallway.

"They're gone!" She said cheerily. I sighed in relief, walking out of the party room with Renamon behind me. We walked down to the office together. My hand accidentally brushed her paw, and she smiled a little more.

"E-er..sorry..." I apologized, walking a little faster. She caught up to me with ease.

"No worries, it's fine!" We got back to the office, and i slumped down in the chair. The camera was broken, the shards of glass still on the floor. I was so tired from all of that, i didn't want to watch the animatronics at all. I checked the clock on the wall. It was 2:38 AM. I sighed. Renamon jumped up, skipping out of the room. "Don't worry about your shift! I'll take care of it for you, Josh!" I relaxed, giving her a thumbs up. Wait..how did she know my name?
