Suzy’s POV:
The next morning I wake up to the knock on my door “who is it?” I say in a husky voice, “it Charlotte” I sit up straight in my bed, and try to open my eyes, but the sunlight from the window in my bedroom are so strong that it hard, “come in” I say and Charlotte, opens the door to my bedroom. “Girl, you look tired, haven’t you slept?” I look at her and then she sit in my bed, watching me with a worried look, “yes, it Alex, he came yesterday, and I got angry … so I yelled at him” she smiles and then hands me a warm cup of coffee, “maybe he deserved that” I smile back at her and begin to sip to the wonderful warm coffee. “See what’ve I’ve got” she shows me a letter, it beautiful, it has green a front, with yellow flowers on it, “it an invitation” I say and look confused at her, she nods “yes, and it for you” she hands me the invitation and I open it “but it says Charlotte?” she laughs” yes dear I know, but read it for me, I need glasses to read” I nod and begin to read: “Dear and Dearest Charlotte, you’re invited for my party, this evening at 8 pm, in my place. Remember to bring a friend of yours. Alex Jx”
I look up and she gives me a sharp smile, “the friend I’m bringing is you! Remember, you told me I owe you?” I look from the letter to Charlotte I can see she’s serious, and I really don’t want to go to that party, and hell not Alex’s party. “Charlotte, can’t you bring someone else? I’m tired as you can see” she gives me the “puppy look” “please Suzy, please, just this time” I sigh and stands up from the bed, she follow’s me still begging, “I know you guys are not fan of each other, but I promise we will only stay for Alex to see us, and then I promise we will come straight home” I look at her, she is standing in the doorway to the bathroom, I try to come into the bathroom, but she blocks my way “alright” I say finally, tired of her begging,” but let me take a quick shower then”, she smiles and moves from my way.
When I finish my hot, not want to leave shower, I take a towel and take it around my body, then I go into my room, and go straight to the wardrobe, to find something nice to wear, I find a red long dress, in Lilly’s section and try to look myself in the mirror, the dress is beautiful simple, I decide that I want to wear that, then I go to the jewelry section and pick up some rings, and a white chain, it was my mom’s, I hug it and then remember the day my mother wore it, it was on the wedding anniversary, I smile and put it on. I hear some steps behind me then the wardrobe door opens and Charlotte is standing behind me, I turn around to face her, she smiles and then hug’s me, “you look wonderful, I don’t think, Alex will be angry with you tonight” I smile back at her and turn around to face myself in the mirror, I put some brown eye shadow, on my eyelids, and some fake lashes, I complete the look with a pink soft lip gloss, “you don’t even need that dear” says charlotte as I turn around, “I know, but it a party” she smiles and takes the brush from the table, and brushes my hair, “let your hair be like that, it really suits you” I smile at her and she gives me one more tight hug. When we enter the party, it a totally disaster there are so many people, I look nervous behind me to see Charlotte, trying to come up at the last few stairs, she takes her hand in mine and gives me a smile, “don’t be nervous, and if you are, act like you’re not” and gives my hand a squeeze. I look around in the big house, there are two stairs, both goes up to some rooms upstairs, a few tables are there and here, and some waiters are going between people to give them their drinks, a beautiful girl maybe 19 sits between two men and laughs, her blue short dress compliment her white skin, her gaze meet’s mine and she smiles, her dark brown hair is in a high ponytail, and her brown eyes are looking in my way, she excuses the two men and comes in our way. “You must be the famous Suzy” she says and gives my hand a squeeze, and then she hugs Charlotte, “you look lovely like always, Cathy” says Charlotte, to the girl who’s name must be Cathy, “thank you, and you two don’t look bad either” she smiles and Charlotte and I smiles back.” Well, about the dress, it was Alex’s idea; he likes the color blue, so no argument there” we both laugh and then she looks towards me, “It nice to meet you Suzy, the women, you very famous on my brothers list” I look confuse at her and she smiles to Charlotte, “excuse me?” I say, and she ignored me and calls a waiter, “what’ve would you two like?” I look at the plate with drinks on, “I don’t drink alcohol sorry” she smiles and gives Charlotte a drink, “what about soda” I smile back and take the bottle with Pepsi “thanks” she smiles and continues her conversation with Charlotte. The music suddenly start and we all stay back so there are room for a man and a women to dance, the women has a blue dress on but it’s long, and has cut outs, the back is bare, her hair is curly black, and she wears a mask, the man on her left has a black suit on and messy blond hair he has also a mask on but I can see through that he’s eyes is brown, he looks in our way and winks at Suzy, then he looks at me and froze.
