*I opened my Skype account when I heard a low chuckle, suspecting one of the stories I had heard was true. The Skype page loaded and I checked on the the call that I supposedly was in and cringed, tensing up the nerves around my mouth. There was a very large built man in a dark black leather jacket and jeans sitting on a tall wooden stool, his back towards me. I bit my lip and nervously checked to see if my camera was on, it was. I grinned. I wanted this to happen, well not really wanted to, but just to see if it would work if I had followed the single step correctly. 'Click the link'. And it had worked. Perfectly. My grin broadened as I stared hauntingly at his back. He would be my victim not the other way around. I lessened my smile and spoke, "Hello." He turned slowly and I was staring at his faded leather black mask. I smiled again and chuckled, I surprised him I'm sure I did. I'm not a punk-ass wuss like other people. I bet he's scared of my bravery already!I laughed, louder. It was spiteful. He's going to be so surprised when I'm done with him. "Hello little girl" He replied calmly. My smiled stretched further up into my skull. "HE'S HIDING HIS FEAR, HE DOESN'T WANT ME TO KNOW HE'S A COWARD!" I think frantically. He stares at me through his leather mask, I feel like he's studying me. Why? He spoke calmly again, "Why do you smile? Do you laugh at me? Do you doubt me? I continue laughing. "Aren't you doubting ME?" He motioned something with his hands. The lights in my bedroom flickered on. He did this motion again. The lights flickered once again and went out. I stared at him, hard, a cold dark blaze in my eyes. "Is that ALL you can do?" I spoke roughly. He stood up, moving slowly towards the camera. "I am glad you asked..." he whispered hoarsely. I waited staring up at my monitor with suspense gripping my gut. "...What..." BAM!!! The house rocketed and shuddered, it felt like it was being lifted and slammed back towards the ground. I fell backwards in my bed surprised and forced, my laptop on my stomach now. And then the house was quiet, still, nothing but the sound of the house adjusting and creaking. Something cold compressed against my face. Then... It was gone. SPLAT! My face was struck by something hard, solid, and cold. My face stung, I cupped my burning cheek. This is real...I stared into my now dark room blankly, the only thing emitting light being my monitor. I began calming my mind down, but snapped in the process. "HahahaaahaahahaHAHAHAAHAH!" I screamed in wild laughter. Something brushed over the house and I began began to breathe heavily, oxygen slipping my lungs. I shuddered and shut my eyes. My silent house overcame me, and I collapsed; Into the dead unearthly moment. My heart was clawing its way out of my throat. Unnatural...Fear conquered me, then his voice appeared, he was mumbling. "Please go away.." I begged sitting up. The monitor froze and and turned black leaving me in darkness. Lights dimly flickered on. I wasn't in my bed. I wasn't in my room. I wasn't even in the house anymore! Footsteps echoed around me, I couldn't move. It felt as if I were bound by thick, cold steel. Someone was creeping up on me from behind. I couldn't see who...They pressed a cold sharp blade against my neck and leaned over me, kneeling. I could see the faded leather mask and knew it was him. Unraveling his his mask from his face, a smirking flesh eaten skull maggot filled empty sockets stared out at me slowly leaning closer into my face. And then darkness. I sat stunned my eyes adjusting as I stared at blankness. "Don't..." a whisper echoed into and out of my ears as it hissed, "Don't...toy with Death..."
