"the girl with the long blonde hair,
twirls in the wind.
She laughs and plays,
As her snow white dress,
sparkles in the sun."
- all poetryThe girl with the long blonde hair took residence in an old treehouse in the woods. She lived in the highest point. She was thirteen years of age. Her encaptress lived with her in the treehouse. Mother was a very wicked being, although she did admit that Ravenna had very beautiful hair. Mother was very jealous of Ravenna's flowing, golden mane. Mother said that she had business she needed to attended to. Ravenna was very excited. This meant that Mother had to travel for work. Ravenna would be alone and without a tedious list of chores. Mother would also remove the large lock from Ravenna's room so she might be able to get away if in danger. Ravenna would be able to be truly free for once.
Mother left at dawn the next morning. Ravenna began the gruelling job of combing her long, thick hair. She was in for quite a shock when she heard a lovely voice at the base of the treehouse. A young maiden with the looks of a sixteen year old, was calling for her. Ravenna was pondering her situation. Until now, Ravenna had only ever remembered her awful, malevolent Mother. The maiden began climbing the old rope attached to the treehouse. Ravenna was glad that girl had not attempted to scale her locks. On some days, Ravenna's mother had climbed her hair like a rope.
