Just The Way You Are

Chapter 2

Justin's POV:

I ran down the stairs noisily on purpose, causing Aunt Ellie to run into the room trying to find out where the noise was coming from.

"Oh, it's just you. I thought there was a stampede." she said relieved.

I just rolled my eyes and continued down the stairs to the door with my swim trunks on.

"Where are you-?" By that time I was already out the door and was walking to the pier. When I got there my friend Kyle was flirting with some girl, of course.

"So Megan we should go out sometime." he said smoothly. 

The brunette girl just giggled and walked away with her friends. Then he turned and saw me and his smile came on again.

"Heeey!!! Justin, my man. How's it going?"

"I missed ya dude." I laughed.

"Yea, yea how are the chicks in Miami? Do you mind sending some over?" he chuckled.

"Well I have a girlfriend. Her name's Selena. But I don't want to talk about her right now. Where's the rest of the guys?" I questioned.

"I dont know, let's check the beach. Wait, why are you here again? I don't it in a bad way, but why?" he asked.

"My Aunt Ellie is making me stay all summer to "straighten" up and remember who I am." I said as I kicked the sand.

"Well there are some cute girls around here." he pointed at the group of girls sunbathing.

"Yea that makes everything better." I said sarcastically.

He laughed and said,"Come on, let's go find Jake and Jason."

We searched endlessly around the beach until we found them jumping off a dock.

Oh god.

Jake said, "Yooo! Justin."

.......

After hanging with my friends, catching up on things, and jumping off the dock a couple times we finally went home. Ugh... back to the most boring house in the world.

When I got home Aunt Ellie starrted asking questions, "Justin! Where have you been all day? I've been so worried."

"Remember, I said I was going to the pier with my friends, jeez calm down." I walked past her, my sneakers squeaking on the wooden floor.

"I know, but can you at least be home by... 8, alright?" she asked.

"What, now I have a CURFEW?" I said raising my voice.

I ran upstairs and yelled, "I HATE YOU AND THIS PLACE!!!" Then I slammed my door shut with a big BAM!
