It was the first World Conference meeting you've ever attended, thanks to American for his invitation. He had asked you to join him since he needed a companion along for the ride. Agreeing, you decided to simply join in the meeting, and possibly help if need ever arose.

And now here you were, sitting in the semi-comfortable chair in a room filled with men. Hardly any other women were to be seen, the room was uncomfortably stuffy to you, you were hungry, and to top it off, you couldn't shake a chilling feeling of someone staring at you; although, you were too nervous to look around and discover who the culprit was, in fear that the gaze would be even more chilling than the qualms you were receiving. The words that were spoken during the meeting were a slight haze, fogged from the chilling aura, but you managed to catch the gist of what the conversation was about. Though you knew the matter of global warming was a foremost concern, you still could not shake that feeling of someone looking at you, almost unblinkingly.

"And that concludes our meeting for today!" America's voice boomed through the silent room. You joined in the plethora of relieved sighs as your body relaxed somewhat, thankful you could finally get out of that room and away from the awkward feelings. Without hesitation, you jumped to your feet and hastily strolled out of the door to wait for your mentioned friend. Leaning against a wall, your hands jammed in your pockets, you watched the rest of the countries exit the room. A few of them stopped and asked who you were, or simply gave a greeting. One named Italy came very close to your face, a wide grin on his lips, and asked in the highest voice possible, "Hiya! I'm Italy! I like pasta. What's your name?"

"_____," you returned politely, "and it's nice to meet you." A few minutes went by and you conversed with Italy until you felt like eyes were on you again. A cold chill rippled down your spine as you shivered lightly, and snapped your (color) eyes up without thinking. However, as your eyes went up, the feeling dissolved into nothing, as quick as it had come, and instead, your eyes landed on a very tall, thick man. His light beige hair was a little messy, but looked interesting with his violet eyes. In that moment, his eyes met yours for only a second before they closed into a happy look, a small smile on his lips. He looked so cute for someone so large, like a gentle giant. His head turned forward again as his regular look returned, and he made his way down the hall. You hadn't realized your heart was thumping so hard until your eardrums pounded mercilessly. There was just something about that man that you couldn't place.

"Well, I gotta go! Seeya _____!" Italy exclaimed, waving goodbye as he skipped towards a blonde man with slicked back hair that seemed to be avoiding the Italian. Or at least he was trying.

America was naturally the last person to leave the room, so you had waited for more than a few minutes for him to arrive. He had a worried smile on his face; something was wrong. "You didn't seem too excited to be at the meeting, _____. Is something wrong?" he asked.

You shook your head, "No, I'm fine. There was just an awkward moment is all," you tried to explain to him without making him worry. And yet, you couldn't really explain the feelings that washed over you when you felt that gaze. It was almost suffocating, all the strange tingles that went through you. Things like fear, nervousness, and dehydration, your heart racing dangerously, getting slightly dizzy, and being utterly uncomfortable. But what kind of a person would make you feel such agonizing things?

"Well, we should probably get back to the hotel room we rented. Plus I'm starving!" America exclaimed with bright eyes. He then turned around, starting his march towards the exit with you following close behind. "We should get ice cream! And maybe some cheeseburgers with soda. Yeah!" he continued to prattle off as many heart-attack-endorsing foods he could think of.

Outside the building, a tall Russian man noticed his companions heading down the street. This was his chance to get answers; so many questions ran through his mind when he saw the new girl in the meeting. He saw Italy talking to her, so maybe he could get her name and talk to her personally.
