Glossary

Centaur:              half-man and half-horse, good with bow and arrows

Cryokinesis:        the ability to manipulate ice, typically held by Elementals known as 'mermaids' or 'sirens'

Damanta:            Realm of the Dead or Damned depends on who you are. Ruler: Lord Hades

Dark Mage:         able to manipulate shadows and spirits

Dragon:                vile flying creature known to have a bad temper and a penchant for 'flame-grilled' food

Elves:    most well-known of the fairy races, perfectionists to a tee.

Empath:               an Elemental (or other) capable of turning emotions into magical energy.

Empire of the Elementals:            (self-explanatory) Ruler: Emperor Marcus, Emperor of Elements

Etherea:               Realm of the Fey. Ruler: Queen Morgana

Flash(ing):           the ability to move the body through small gaps in time to save the effort of moving across large spaces

Fury:      vile flying creature with the wings of a bat and body of a woman

Light fey:             fey with a gift for the arts (painting, acting, etc.)

Mage:   formerly human magic-wielders, no specific elemental ties

Manticore:          don't ask, just don't

Mermaids:          half-woman and half-fish. Very sadistic race of people, known for singing to sailors to get them to crash into rocks and drown

Rock troll:            slow-moving Elementals, very wise, it just takes them forever to say anything.

Seer:     A mage or fey holding the ability to read and control the flow of time

Shades:                vengeful spirits manipulated by Dark Mages

Shifter:                 anyone possessing the ability to change their shape at will in favour of an animal's or any other

Sprite:   small species of fey, ability to fly on fragile little wings. (Known to bite when angry)

Telekinesis:        control held by some mages and elves over any object using only the extent of their will

Telepathy:          communication between two entities using only their minds

Vampire:             similar to shifter, but needs blood to maintain ability

Water fey:          able to manipulate small amounts of water in any form

Werewolf:          (see shifter)

Wood fey:           elves with a gift for communicating with plants

Wraiths:               extremely vengeful spirits, barely controllable by even the most powerful Necromancer.
