The next day, when the sun was rising, Tatyana, Rose, and Hadriel were awoken by monotonous rain drops pelting their forehead. The sky thundered sending fear through Tatyana and Rose.

The clouds rolled in and the sky was dark. Lightning flashed down and set a tree on fire.

"Ahhhh!" Rose yelled. Tatyana and Rose started to freak out. Light flashed everywhere and the thunder roared louder, louder, and louder.

The wind whipped and more lightning shot out of the sky, until a large mysterious bird flew down, majestically. It was huge and took down a few trees as it landed on the ground with a thud. The big bird was a dark blue and had sparks of blue colored electricity that soared around its humongous wings. Its eyes were closed but it knew exactly where it was and what it was doing. It seemed like it was staring straight at the girls. As the creature stood on its yellow talons, the thunder and lightning lessened.

Tatyana placed her hand on Hadriel who was nudging her.

"That's the Thunderbird and it wants to talk to you. He can sense when someone has the power of zoolingualism."

"What'd he say?" Rose asked.

"Hadriel said that that's the Thunderbird," Tatyana said quietly. Rose nodded towards the bird. The Thunderbird had bowed its head expectantly. Tatyana looked scared and hesitantly started towards the Thunderbird. The creature's loud breathing was the only thing that was heard besides the rain that sprinkled all around them. It stood a lot taller than Tatyana and it had to crane its neck down far so Tatyana could rest her small hand on the soft feathers on its head.

Tatyana focused on saying something to the Thunderbird. "Hello, I am Tatyana and I am in need of your help. If what I've heard is true, there is a dark evil force coming. And, if you help me, I will help you, Thunderbird."

Tatyana stared at the Thunderbird waiting for an answer. The trees around them swaying in the wind. Rose and Hadriel waiting nervously a few steps back.

"I will help you but I do not need anything in return except for the Earth to be rid of such a horrid creature."

"Thank you. The school down at the edge of the forest. You know where it is right?" Tatyana asked the Thunderbird.

"Yes, I know."

"Well, she plans to attack at 2:30. You can meet us at the edge of the forest so we can wait for her. Sound good?"

"Yes."

Tatyana removed her hand from the magnificent creature and took a few steps back towards Rose as the bird got ready to fly away.

It opened its huge eyes and shot out a humongous lightning bolt before it lurched into the air and took off through the sky which thundered some more and sent rain drops back down towards Rose and Tatyana.

Hadriel, Rose, and Tatyana watched the Thunderbird fly off into the distance before they gathered their thoughts again. "He said yes," Tatyana informed them.

"This is so easy," Rose said smiling.

"Don't jinx us," Tatyana said staring at the spot where the Thunderbird just left, absentmindedly.

"Okay but, we do not have much time. We still need to find our last group of reinforcements and get back to school. We only have a few more hours until Lilith reaches the school so we have to move, lets go guys," Tatyana said.

The rain and thunder stopped and made the forest much more quiet and peaceful. After gathering their belongings and eating some protein bars Tatyana, Rose, and Hadriel started back into the forest.
